The red sandstone pyramid in the middle of the bustling market square of the city of Karlsruhe is undoubtedly one of the city's most famous landmarks. The pyramid is the grave of the city founder 'Karl Wilhelm von Baden-Durlach' (1679-1738). Today's sandstone pyramid was built between 1823 and 1825 according to a design by Friedrich Weinbrenner above the grave. Karlsruhe is the only European city to possess the real grave of the founder on the market square. Its height is 6.81 metres, with side edges 8.04 metres long and base edges 6.05 metres long.

Mal wieder in Karlsruhe unterwegs, natürlich bei bestem Frühlingswetter. Dabei auch am Marktplatz vorbeigekommen. Besten Dank fürs Erstellen und viele Grüße aus Ulm. 😸

Frau Robidog24 hatte heute beruflich in Ettlingen zu tun. Als Transportmittel wurde die Deutsche Bahn gewählt und es klappte alles wie am Schnürchen. Die eingeplanten Pufferzeiten konnten so zur Schatzsuche in Karlsruhe und Ettlingen genutzt werden.
Hier stand ich erst auf dem Schlauch, auf der Heimfahrt bekam dann mit dem gemachten Foto alles Sinn......
Danke für's Herführen und das Legen und Pflegen vom Büchsle.
Ein Glückskäferle ist eingezogen.

Ab und zu muss ich auch mal geschäftlich raus aus der Homezone. Also nicht nur zum cachen. Mit der Betonung auf dem nur, du weißt schon. Also anders ausgedrückt musste ich schon um 5 los. Zusammen mit dem geschätzten Kollegen PhileasDog. Angekommen so um 9. Gefrühstückt. Opulent, wenn du weißt was das bedeutet. Dann rein mit den beiden Köfferchen zum Kunden, sauber rumgschaftlt und dann noch zum Mittagessen eine Currywurst abgestaubt. Zu guter Letzt danach auch noch bissl die Stadt angeschaut. Ob das ermittelte Passwort stimmt, werde ich ja gleich sehen. TFTC
