<p><span style="font-size: x-small;"><strong>This cache was established as a birthday cache, but it is open for all with a mthematical interest </strong></span></p>
<p>The coordinates refer to the parking lot of the "Baggersee Linkenheim", which costs a fee in summer. A few hundred meters before reaching that lake you can aprk without fee nest to a gravel quarry</p>
<p>You have to find a few answers before being able to locate the cache:</p>
<p>* you always look for whole numbers. the difference to the exact result is smaller than 1 promille in each case.</p>
<p>A) A very well known mathematical series is written down using a base different to 10 (a few numbers have been left out, you will still recognise the series). </p>

<p>The base on which this numbers are noted gives you A.</p>
<p>B) An airfilled Iropn hollow speher has an outer diamter of 9 cm and a wall thickness of 6.5 mm. The rounded density of the whole sphere is B.</p>
<p>C) If you lay out circles in a square pattern there are interstices in which further (smaller) circles can be put. Using the radius of 169 for the bigger circles the radius of the smaller circles is almost a full number (you can easily proove that there can't be an integerr for the radius of the smaller circle). The cross sum of the number is C</p>
<p>D) Lay a hexagon using identical spheres (one in the middle six around that to forma regular hexagon). Lay further spheres around to create bigger regular hexagons. Repeat this until the number of spheres used is a threedigit square number. The middle digit is D.</p>
