The series SightSeeingVirtualCaches
SightSeeingVirtualCaches are virtual caches, which show you interesting points all over Germany. These caches are always oc-only. You'll find the password for logging at the location of the cache.
You can add a photo to your log, if you want.

Initially, it was built as a sea mark - the Kugelbake in Cuxhaven.
The Kugelbake is a historic sea mark at the point, where the river Elbe flows into the North Sea. The first Kugelbake was built here in the year 1703, it was used as lighthouse. Today, ships use more modern tools for navigation, but the Kugelbake is still a symbol of Cuxhaven and a touristical attraction.

The coordinates of this listing point to the beginning of the dike which leads to the Kugelbake.
In order to log this cache, walk to the Kugelbake. You'll find a picture of an old postcard here (on the lower left of the plate). The year next to the description of the postcard is the password you need to log this cache.
Photos of the Kugelbake and/or ships passing by are always welcome.
Depending on the season you need to pay an admission fee in order to get to the Kugelbake.

Heute früh haben wir uns mit dem Halunder Jet von Hamburg aus auf den Weg gemacht, um noch einen schönen sonnigen Tag in Cuxhaven zu verbringen.
Das Cachen sollte dann natürlich auch nicht zu kurz kommen...

Heute bei windigem Wetter und Niedrigwasser hier aufgelaufen, um eine Dose einzusammeln, die sozusagen zum Wettbewerb gehört. Dabei wurde auch dieser kleine Virtual nicht übersehen. Danke fürs Legen und (wahrscheinlich nicht so aufwendige) Pflegen.
