„Ömlik az arany a karcagi pusztán” – írta Móricz Zsigmond a harmincas évek táján, amikor megáztatta lábát a Berekfürdőn feltörő forró vízben. ✍️🌾

Azóta itt országos hírű fürdőfalu épült, aki csak egyszer is járt erre, nem győzi dicsérni a víz áldásos hatását. 🏊‍♂️✨ 1926-ban megállapítást nyert Pávai Vajna Ferenc dr. főgeológus vizsgálatai alapján, hogy az Alföldet borító negyedidőszaki rétegekben egy olyan redőzés van, melynek boltozata a „Berek” nevű határrészben alkalmasnak látszik arra, hogy ott jó reménységgel szénhidrogén után lehessen kutatni. 🔍🌍

A fúrást a korábban sikeres hajdúszoboszlói kutak mintájára 1927. augusztus 22-én kezdték el. 🏗️ 1928. január 24-én az öblítővíz óvatos lekanalázását rendelte el a főgeológus. Az eredmény meglepő volt: az ötödik kanalazás nyomán már a fúrótoronyba szökött fel, majd – alig hagyva időt a fúrási személyzet menekülésére – „mennydörgéshez” hasonló robaj kíséretében tört elő a bereki határ szenzációs értékű természeti kincse. 💥🌊

A 80 méteres magasságba törő, 50 °C hőmérsékletű hévíz és óriási mennyiségű földgáz összetétele kiváló gyógyhatású jódos-brómos vizet rejtett magában, ami megalapozta a mai Berekfürdő jövőjét! 🧖‍♂️🔋

📜 History of the Location: The First Drilling in Berekfürdő 💦

"Gold is pouring on the Karcag plain" – wrote the famous Hungarian author Zsigmond Móricz around the 1930s, when he soaked his feet in the hot spring water erupting in Berekfürdő. ✍️🌾

Since then, a nationally renowned spa village has been built here, and anyone who has visited even once cannot praise the blessed effects of the water enough. 🏊‍♂️✨ In 1926, based on the investigations of chief geologist Dr. Ferenc Pávai Vajna, it was established that there is a fold in the Quaternary layers covering the Great Hungarian Plain, whose dome in the area called "Berek" seemed suitable to search for hydrocarbons with high hopes. 🔍🌍

Modeled after the previously successful wells in Hajdúszoboszló, drilling began on August 22, 1927. 🏗️ On January 24, 1928, the chief geologist ordered the careful scooping out of the rinsing water. The result was surprising: following the fifth scoop, the sensational natural treasure of the Berek region burst forth, rushing into the derrick and erupting with a roar like thunder, leaving barely enough time for the drilling crew to escape! 💥🌊

The thermal water shooting up to a height of 80 meters at a temperature of 50 °C, combined with a huge amount of natural gas, contained excellent medicinal iodine-bromine water, which laid the foundation for the future of today's Berekfürdő! 🧖‍♂️🔋 Logging Condition (Virtual Cache) 🪪
