Erst als Unterschlupf für Steinzeitmenschen genutzt, ist heute die Bärenhöhle eine meist unbewohnte relativ große Höhle mit einer Abzweigung.
Diese ist oberhalb von Thalheim gelegen.

Direkt an der Höhle kann geparkt werden, an N 50° 29.267 E 008° 02.119 ist ein kleiner Feldweg.

-Passt auf, dass ihr euch eure Köpfe nicht stoßt.- Das kann euch nicht mehr passieren. Die Gemeinde hat beschlossen (warum auch immer) die wunderschöne Höhle zu verschließen.
