We heartly invite you to go on a tour with “Historia Mommenheim” through the historical village of Mommenheim.
Please note: you must not climb any walls, you may not dissamble or move
objects. Also, please pay attention to the traffic and make sure you
and your companions are safe at all times. At the finish line you will
find a container which has enough space in case that travellers are
present.
This multi cache belongs to a series of caches in Mommenheim, their
purpose is to introduce you to the city´s history. Further caches with a

demolished before the First World War. On the opposite side of the
street you will find the first protestant (lutheranian) school building
known in Mommenheim.

Der "Historia
Mommenheim"-Verein leistet wirklich sehr gute Arbeit. Die vielen alten
Gemäuer, die ich teilweise gar nicht kannte (weil ich i.A. immer nur auf
dem Weg zum Supermarkt hier durchbrause), konnten Samira74 und mich
jedenfalls erfreuen. Mein persönliches Highlight war jedoch die (gar
nicht in den Multi integrierte) Tafel zum bekannten Sanskrit-Forscher
Prof. Franz Bopp (1791-1867), der mal in Mommenheim genächtigt hat! Es
gibt schon weltbewegende Dinge...
Auch drollig fanden wir den trocken liegenden Kanal, der uns durch den Ort teilweise begleitet hat.
Auch
wenn vielleicht nicht immer ganz klar (oder präzise) formuliert ist, so
hatten wir i.A. keine größeren Probleme, die Aufgaben zu lösen.
Lediglich bei 2gh haben wir einen Augenblick suchen müssen. Und so
absolvierten wir die Runde im gemütlichen Tempo und standen nach 70
Minuten am Final. Vielen Dank für diese Stationen- und Frage-reiche
Runde durch den Nachbarort!
