Description    Deutsch  ·  English

Stage 1: N 50° 47.915 E 008° 46.185

Watch out for a square. Beneath it are two words. Count the number of letters of both of them. Calculate the difference between these two numbers and add one. Let E denote the result.

Stage 2: N 50° 47.949 E 008° 46.421

How many letters on the wooden sign could be interpreted as Roman digits? (Ignore the case of the letters.) Let A be the obtained number.

Station 3: N 50° 48.076 E 008° 47.008

At the hut you will find a wooden sign. Let G denote the second digit of the date on the sign.

Rather close to the hut you will encounter the remainings of an oak tree and another sign. Consider only the subset of lines of the text on the sign that do not contain the letter sequence "eiche". How many lines from this subset can be used to assemble the word "EICHE" by using only letters from the respective line? (Disregard the case of the letters.) Let F be the number of such lines diminished by one.

Station 4: N 50° 47.986 E 008° 46.906

In which year has the building at this stage been built? Let B be the third digit of the year increased by one.

Station 5: N 50° 48.131 E 008° 47.117

At this stage you will come across a date of a historic event. Write down this date in the format ddmmyyyy. Let D be the fourth digit of the date in this representation.
Let H denote the sum of the first two digits of the date.

Closeby you will encounter a kind of balustrade. Count its number of pilars. C times H yields the number of pilars.

Stage 6: N 50° 4A.BCD E 008° 4E.FGH

Here you will the find the cache, an ammo box.

Danke für den Cache

Found 27 September 2006 Swanro found the geocache

Found 25 August 2006 4mburger found the geocache
