Schnürl @ Night

The idea for this cache is based on a request to have a midnight hike beginning at the nearby youth hotel Sonnenhof. We liked to have a round trip on existing hiking routes marked well enough for people not familiar with the terrain. There are some reflectors placed before the parking spot.

Maintenance is being done by the Sonnenhof people. They might be asked for assistance if really necessary.

Beginning at the parking lot Raier Moos follow the white reflectors. At crossings nearby reflectors are visible, eventually you have to move a few steps on the crossing or bend your knees to view uphill. The roundtrip is closing somewhere between stage 5 and 6. Unless you have all six numbers, the GPS is not necessary.

If you just like to have a nice midnight hike, follow the white relector trail which will guide you back nearly to the parking spot. If you like to find the cache container, look out for the double white reflectors indicating a nearby station. Now find two red reflectors within a distance of max. 15 m and from there you will find a single red reflector. The station is nearby this reflector.

Stations are mande from a piece of rope having a couple of knots. The upper group of knots is indicating the stage number one to six while the lower group of knots shows the related number for the final coordinates, which contains come zeros. Be prepared to find stages without a lower goup of knots.
