This cache leads you to the house of Juliet ("Casa di Giulietta"). Thousands of visitors around the world visit the famous balkony in the small yard where Romeo and Juliet swore eternal love. Within the yard under the balkony a bronzen statue of Juliet has been placed. The walls in the entrance to the yard are painted with love-messages from the visitors.
Of course the balkony is a backdrop only. In the original Shakespear story Julia only stood behind a window. To that time balkonies have not been build in Verona.
Try to visit this place early in the morning. After 10:00 it will be crowded.
To log this cache a password is needed. The statue of Juliet has got serveral plates screwed on its base. The password is the 10th word on the lowest plate.

Heute sind wir auf einen kleinen Stadttrip mit dem Zug nach Verona gefahren, und in die Altstadt geschlendert. Wir haben viele schöne Orte gesehen, und auch ein paar Caches und Waymarks entdecken können. Dieser Balkon und die Statue gehören wohl zu einem Besuch dazu.
Aber es war kurz vor Mittag schon recht viel los, das ich nicht so mein Ding, aber naja, was macht man nicht alles.

Zu Besuch in Verona. In München gibt's ja auch eine Kopie der Statue. Und auch die ist an einigen Stellen ziemlich abgegriffen. Aber gar kein Vergleich zu den Original hier. Sehr lustig. TFTC
