Long ago, a shepherd king lived with his 4 charming daughters near the Glungezer.
One day a giant came and setteled down in a cave nearby.
Sometime at night he roared in a way that averlances and rockfalls came down the mountain.
One day he saw the maidens and decided to marry one of them.
He put on his best dress and went to the king asking. The king said he has to ask the maidens themselves.
The giant begged them to marry him, but they were terrified and said "No".
The giant went angry and thew rockts against the castle. Everything was torn into the near lake.
But then he felt remorse and sat down at the lakes shore and began to weep.His greef let him shrink to a gray twarf.
There he sits until now.
In some moonlighted nights you can see him trying to reach to ghosts of the maidens, sweeping over the lake.
But he never reach them.

Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und die Logs auf geocaching.com (GC7F75N) lassen darauf schließen, das der Cache nicht mehr zu finden ist. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollte später der Cache erneuert werden, so kann dieses Listing durch den Owner selbständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden.

Nach der allgemeinen Corona-Lockerung hatte ich einen Radlausflug gemacht, der mich auf dem Rückweg hier entlang führte.
Ein kleines Päuschen war sowieso mal angebracht, schließlich war man ja einige Wochen mehr oder weniger zur Untätigkeit verdammt gewesen, und daher etwas außer Form.
Das Riesen-Bild war mir schon öfter aufgefallen, die Geschichte dazu kannte ich aber noch nicht. Ich dachte immer irgendwas mit Bettelwurf oder Riese Haymon oder so.
