Chace is located in the “Percorso Ginnico Parco del Peralto”. It is easy to reach, around 15 mins from the start of the path.

BY CAR:
Set up your GPS navigator to reach coordinates N 44°25'43'',374 E 8°55'46'',038: it is the terminus of bus nr 40. The path starts from coordinates N 44°25'45'',155 E 8°55'44'',772.

BY BUS:
Take bus nr. 40 from Brignole Rail Station, get off at the terminus. The path starts from coordinates N 44°25'45'',155 E 8°55'44'',772.

When I had a look at the caching map for Genova, I was amazed to see 4 OpenCaches in the vicinity. For sure, those caches would be my goal for the caching day I had planned for. I started in the morning from the apartment and went up and up on the hill. When I started, it was also a bit chilly, but soon I had to take off the warm clothes. I had some good views on the way, even it was a bit foggy.

Then I arrived at the start of the gymnastics path in the Peralto park and I followed it of course. It's a nice and easy walk. There were some people on the way, but not too many. Still, managed easily to grab the cache between two groups of hikers and logged on the nearby bench. Inside I found my first cache-condom (I left it there just in case someone is in dire need 😄).

Thank you mojoint for the box on the way up and especially for also listing this cache on opencaching!

After this, I headed further up towards the forts. On the way I had also interesting sights and I visited some lost places. It was a great day.

Schöner, kühler Weg durch den Wald oberhalb Genuas, durch den man der Sommerhitze entfliehen kann. TFTC!

So hektisch Genua ist, so schön und beschaulich ist dieser kleine Waldpfad auf den Höhen über Genua. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen (MULTO BENE!). In: TB
