The "Lilofee vom Weserstrand", a fairy, is a figure from the children's book "Runzis wundersame Reise" (Runzis wondrous journey) from Thea Eble, an authoress of the nearby town of Brake. In this child fairy tale the herb dwarf Runzi tells about his journey from his forest in the south of Germany to the North Sea Coast. A station of its journey is the Weser beach at Brake Kirchhammelwarden, where he also meets the beautiful fairy Lilofee, a former human girl, which married "Mr. Smolk von Brake" governing on the ground of the Weser river.
The Cache is at the "Schlengenpadd", a narrow path to the Weser river beach, which was created and is kept in condition by the local citizen association "Hammelwarder Bürgerverein". Two benches directly located at the sand beach with a view of river and ships and the "Harriersand", the longest river island of Europe, invite to a rest period. With appropriate weather and water level this place affords the opportunity for a beautiful bath in the Weser river.

Bitte bei Statusänderungen, die bei geocaching.com durchgeführt werden, auch immer hier den Status ändern.
Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com (GCWETX) archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und die Logs auf geocaching.com lassen darauf schliessen, dass der Cache nicht mehr erreicht werden kann. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben, so kann dieses Listing durch den Owner selbständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden.

Ich empfehle diesen Cache aufgrund des schönen Strandzugangs, den er eröffnet: Ohne den Cache hätten wir diesen tollen Ort nicht besucht.

Der Cache ist sehr gut platziert und konnte heute trocken und schnell geborgen werden. Danke für die Pflege des Caches!
