Am einfachsten erreicht man die Burgruine von der A 9 aus. Hier die Ausfahrt Plech nehmen und weiter in Richtung Betzenstein fahren. Von Betzenstein in Richtung Leupoldstein halten, noch vor Ortsende zweigt links eine Straße nach Stierberg ab. Parken kann man recht gut bei N 49° 40,646 E011°23,105.

The castle ruin Stierberg was mentioned for the first time in the year 1187. The fore-castle and the main castle are freely accessible. The area of the reeve's house is private property and may not be entered. More information and the best overview is at N49° 40.675 E011°23,295.
Most simply you reach the ruin from the A 9. Take the exit "Plech" and continue to drive toward Betzenstein. From Betzenstein hold toward Leupoldstein, still before end of the village turn to the left in direction to Stierberg. Parking is quite good possible at N 49° 40.646 E011°23,105.

Zusammen mit Gruenspecht49 haben wir heute einen Ausflug in die Fränkische gemacht, um die Stierberg-Runde anzugehen. Dabei haben wir auch diesen kleinen Multi absolviert, um den Rockpalast zu besuchen.

Wir waren gestern auf einer kleinen Wanderung rund um Betzenstein unterwegs. Einen Abstecher zur Burgruine Stierberg haben wir natürlich auch gemacht. Nach kurzem Suchen wurde der Cache gehoben.
Out: Seifenblasen Döschen
In: Hüpfball
Schöner Cache, vor allem kann man im vorderen Bereich in der Nähe der Ruine super Brotzeit machen.
