A Cache near Wildflecken/Rhön, that gives you the opportunity to take an impression of the regions history being a military location since 1936.
From the parking area, just walk along the “Kreuzweg der Nationen” (way of the cross of nations), which tells you the incredible number of victims during both world wars. The way of the cross is beautiful, but becomes squishy in rainy times. Please take the right clothes and shoes.
The "Polenfriedhof" (polish cemetary), has been a real cemetary in former times. Nowadays it is a memorial place for the nearly 20.000 polish, who lived near Wildflecken terribly crowded in a displaced persons camp after world war II.

Lange hat es gedauert, ich schenke OC nun auch mal mehr Beachtung und logge nach. In Zukunft gibts dann eigene Logeträge für OC...
So, nun bin ich wieder in Gebieten mit Empfang und kann endlich loggen xD
Ich war zwei Wochen nicht weit von hier auf Lehrgang und so kam ich hier vorbei,eigentlich war mehr geplant, das hat sich dann leider aber doch nicht ergeben.
Der Weg hier her, war schön. Wir sind zu 2. hier her gelaufen haben den Cache gesucht und auch ganz schnell gefunden.

**Das Logbuch war leider etwas nass, aber noch gut zu beschreiben. Nur von alleine trocknet es erfahrungsgemäß wohl nicht.**

Eine wirklich schöne Gegend hier. Das war mein erster Aufenthalt hier in der Rhön.

An dem Hinweisschild bin ich schon öfter vorbeigefahren. Nun endlich habe ich dem Friedhof auch mal einen Besuch abgestattet.

Heute mit !PeteM! Und einem gastcacher ne Spritztour gemacht und diese Dose bei einer Wanderung besucht.
