This is my 1st cache and is situated near Bad Homburg. It's got a new final since Kyrill managed to lay trees over the old hiding place. Now the way is shorter and the final can be found on the way back to the car.
Starting point: N 50°13.517 E 8°37.723
(1) Go to the starting point and have a look around: in front of you there is an entrance to the Kurpark with a big signboard. Please remember the street name and the number of the house for later. NO of you are parking lots belonging mostly to the Taunustherme. What is the maximum time for parking? This is a. Now start calculating:
N 50°13.916 E 8°37.A A: a x 155 + A + 1 = 723

(2) Once you arrive there look NO: there is something fenced in. What is it? Count the letters of the word = b. This word has got the same number of letters in German as in English!
N 50°14.B B: b x 25 – ( b + 4 ) = B
E 8°37.C C: b x 100 + b x 4 + ( b – 7) – b x 60 = C

(3) By the time you arrive there, look or go about 100 m to Southeast. What are you seeing? The name of this big building must be in German. If you are unsure ask somebody. There are probably people around you. Number of letters = c! Remember the street and number from the beginning? Number of letters of the street = d and number = e! Now the cache isn’t far anymore.

Heute war ein schöner Tag für einen Multi. Gesagt, getan. Nur mit meinen ermittelten Finalkoordinaten haderte ich dann etwas. Da soll der Cache liegen? Hm. Ich ging dann zu den ermittelten Koordinaten und ich muss sagen: So gut passen die Koordinaten selten. Mein GPS meinte, ich sei da und da war auch schon die Box. Von daher, alles bestens. Hat auch niemand beim Loggen gestört. :-)

Es muss schon eine Weile her sein (ein Jahr? zwei?), dass ich die überraschend lange Wanderung durch das Champagner-Gebiet bis zum - wie sich leider herausstellte - vermeintlichen Final machte. Bei zwei Stationen ergaben sich für mich mehrere Antwortmöglichkeiten, die ich nach meinem seinerzeitigen Misserfolg zu Hause auf Plausibilität abklopfte. Dabei ergaben sich am Ende zwei Favoriten, die ich mir am Ende meiner heutigen Runde zur Prüfung vorgenommen hatte. Glücklicherweise konnte ich die Dose - der es übrigens sehr gut geht - an der ersten vermuteten Stelle finden und damit auch dieses Kapitel abschließen.

Da ich diese Woche zu einer Schulung in Bad Homburg war, habe ich die Gelegenheit genutzt, dieses feine Döschen zu besuchen. In mehreren Etappen habe ich mich schließlich zum Finale vorgearbeitet.

Dieser Multi hatte sich zuerst schön hinter einem anderen versteckt. Heute war er aber fällig. Zuerst habe ich mich auf eine weitere entspannte Runde im Kurpark eingestellt, aber so einfach war es dann doch nicht. Zwischendurch sind wir ordentlich ins Schwitzen gekommen bei diesem Wetter. Alle Wegpunkte waren aber gut und eindeutig zu finden und auch das Finale wured schnell identifiziert. Der versprochene GeoCoin befand sich allerdings nicht darin. DFDC!
