Baumsteiger

Located in a beautiful lowland forest beneath a river this cache is hidden in a hole on the biggest tree in the area.

Description

The cache itself is hidden on a huge tree in about two meters height. Hint: The huge tree splits into two tracts in about five meters height and is the biggest one in the area. Though it might not be easy to spot the tree from far away because its surrounded by lots of other trees.

The cache is a fairly large green Gatorade bottle that can be easily spotted when climbing (or lets better say stepping because its very easy) on the tree.

Please note:

* In case you have to cross the river Pitten there is a pedestrian bridge not far away from the cache at coordinates N 47° 43.898 E 16° 13.362

* Recommended starting points: Erlach (Wiesengasse, Ufergasse or Wehrgasse)

Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und das Ownerlog auf geocaching.com läßt darauf schließen, dass der Cache nicht mehr machbar ist. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben, so kann dieses Listing durch den Owner selbstständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden.

Der Baum ist eine Wucht! Beim Zugang dachte ich, ich kann da grade darauf zugehen, aber der Bach hat überraschnederweise derzeit Wasser geführt. Die Au blüht in alle Farben! DFDC

Ist ja genial, da lauf ich mit dem navi durch den wald um nen baum zu finden ;-)
coole sache, in der gegend hab ich als kind gespielt. nur damals war es deutlich leichter einfach so ins unterholz abzubiegen. liegt woh daran dass ich jetzt größer bin ;-)
