Description Deutsch (German)

Bau aus dem vorindustriellen Delmenhorst. Die ältesten Mauern stammen aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. 1789 wurde das Kirchenschiff erneuert. Ziegel des Huder Klosters wurden im Turm vermauert. 1908 wurde der Turm aufgestockt.

Die Grafengruft wurde in den Jahren 1614-19 angelegt. Noch heute bergen die Zinksärge die sterblichen Überreste des Delmenhorster Grafen Anton II, seiner Frau Sibylla Elisabeth, ihrer Tochter Sybilla Maria und ihres Sohnes Christian IX, dem letzten Delmenhorster Grafen.

Vor der Kirche steht ein Obelisk (1874) - das älteste Denkmal der Stadt.
