You are sitting in your patrol car at:

searching for parking offenders when suddenly the mobile fax machine starts buzzing, dropping a sheet of paper. At the same time somebody is calling you at the radio:

suspicious people have been seen by a walker. Proceed immediately for this area and start investigations. Over und Out².

As usual: eight hours before the change of shift the job gets stressful. Of course this area is reachable only by bike or by feet (it's told that wolfs can be heard there sometimes)! A good abserver as you are, who balks at needless work, you think over (after reading the fax!):

* Is the fact of counterfeiting ("Geldfälschung") a crime and if yes according to which paragraph of the austrian criminal code? (z=§)? (if it is not a crime, then z=97)

* What is the maximum penalty for this crime (y=years)? (if it isn't a crime, then y=135)

Let's start! And don't forget: if you flop, inspector Kottan takes over!

recommended equipment:
+ the faxed sheet of paper or drawing of it
+ map of the area "Größenberg" (ÖK 76)
+ inkstand (PDAs count)
+ pocket-/headlight
+ compass
+ sturdy shoes
+ enough water to drink
+ first-aid-kid (hopefully not espacially for this cache, but it cannot be amiss)

please note:
+ all stages can be reached by pathes, except from the last few meters
+ near spoiler A it is possible to fall, when leaving the path!
+ because of the above mentioned danger you should not search by night or poor visibility!
+ it is never necessary to enter hedged areas!
+ not all existing paths are drawn in the map!
+ the stages are micros (film-capsule), the cache itself is a 2,25l plastic-box
+ variables are written lower case, spoilers upper case
+ Please rehide the micros and the cache in the same way you found it (not easier or harder)! It is exhausting enough.

24 January 2015 Eagle_ found the geocache

Der Owner und auch der Vorfinder halfen mir mit dem Hinweis aus der verschwundenen Stage 4 aus. So konnte die Jagd nach den Falschmünzern weitergehen.

Das waren zwei sehr schöne Wanderungen. Beide habe ich großteils im Finstern gemacht, was die Jagd noch unheimlicher macht. Die Ausblicke auf das Steinfeld haben mir gefallen. Besonders toll war die Gegend bei Stage 5 und 6, das kannte ich noch nicht.

Mit mal schnell gemacht ging hier nichts. Immer wieder entkamen uns die Tatverdächtigen knapp. Aber nach mehreren Stunden waren sie umtingelt und ergaben sich. THX für den schönen Cache, Sterau & Nici

01 November 2007 Mariechen found the geocache

Obwohl wir heute dienstfrei hatten, wurde unsere Spürnasen - Spezialeinheit angefordert. Es galt eine Verbrecherbande zu verfolgen. Natürlich ein Leichtes für uns. Wir fanden alle Stages blitzschnell und die Verbrecher waren chancenlos. Etwas hinderlich waren unsere zweibeinigen Kollegen, die sich mancherorts wirklich etwas komisch benahmen. Immer wieder drehten sie Steine um oder gruben in der Erde . Dabei muss man doch nur seine Nase richtig einsetzen. Ansonsten eine wirklich tolle Runde!
