Die Besiedelung Brunecks geht bis in die frühgeschichtliche Zeit zurück. Funde aus der Stein-, Bronze- und Eisenzeit sind in Bruneck und naher Umgebung zu besichtigen, wie etwa das berühmte Steinbeil von Rasen.
Manigfacher sind die Spuren römischer Zeit. Meilensteine wie etwa jener von Sonnenburg direkt an der Staatsstraße wiesen römischen Legionären den Weg durch das Tal von Aquileja über Aguntum.

05. luglio 2008 PX200E ha trovato la geocache

I made this Cache during our holiday in South Tirol.
Very nice place for a Cache and a nice hide.
After the caching we were swimming in the Sport Arena of Brunero (Bruneck)
I take the travel bug out of the cache and hides it today in Haltern Germany. I forget to write down the tracking number of the TB, sorry. I hope the owner will sent it to me.
