Beschreibung    Deutsch  ·  English

This is a Night-Cache where you look for light in the dark. It is best done by bike.
Duration: 1-4h along a non-circular route of about 7-8km.

The following equipment may be helpful:

  • bicycle
  • Data of other caches so you can collect all the easy points on the way.
  • compass
  • bicycle light
  • calculator (e.g. cellphone)
  • bicycle pump and maybe repair stuff
  • good flashlight or headlamp
  • sweater, long trousers
  • your own pen for the log
  • printout, e.g. to make your you don't mix up + and - signs

Please remember to bring your own pen.

Things to note regarding the calculations:

  • As usual: dot operations have priority over dash operations
  • A "(mod 103)" after an calculation means: only use the least significant three digits of the calculation result, e.g.: 345 of 12345.
  • The division by 103 just puts the centi-minutes where they belong. Of course, the minutes can still change.
  • Python-On-The-Road-User can use the following script: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2274561/gcnachtradln.py

Note: The cache can propably not be done during the day.

OC-Team archiviert 22.
