A little bit extended calulation puzzle for all train travellers and non train travellers
Everybody, who already
travelled in a fast moving train that is
going through a tunnel, might have noticed pressure changes,
occurring at a certain time pattern (however, it doesn't work in an
ICE, because those are built pressure proof). Only few people know about the background of this effect, and
the fact that it can be used for calculating useful things: When entering the tunnel, the front of the train creates a
pressure pulse. This pressure pulse is moving towards the distant
tympanum at the speed of sound. Since the tympanum is effectively
an open end, the pressure pulse is reflected and moves backwards
towards the entrance tympanum, where it is reflected once again and
so forth (of course, in reality reflections on the train's surfaces
are occurring as well). If one looks on a watch when entering the
tunnel, and each time the pressure pulses can be felt, it is
possible to calculate the speed of the train as well as the length
of the tunnel (assuming a constant speed of the train). Exceptionally, Hartmut is travelling in an IC today, instead of
using an ICE as usual. Furthermore, he is sitting somewhere back in
the train today (since Rüdiger is sitting at the front). The very
moment he enters the tunnel, he is starting his stopwatch. At
t1=23,53806337 s, t2=32,96046233 s
and t3=48,74790694 s he notices the above described
pressure pulse. The location, where the final can be found can be derived from
the length of the tunnel (first part) and the speed of the train
minus the distance between the train's front and himself. Use the
metric units that is usually used for the respective purpose. As
the speed of sound, use vs=330 m/s. If you are interested in doing an easier calculation, you can
look up GC22DKB. Here, Hartmut is sitting right at the train front
(hence the distance between the train front an himself can be
neglected).

Nun endlich während den Regentagen kommen wir zum Loggen. Wir haben da noch einiges nachzuholen.
Der gute Vorsatz des neuen Jahres: Alle Caches loggen die noch nachzuloggen sind. Somit mache ich mich daran und logge hier meiner Frau hinterher.
Was jetzt gar nicht so einfach ist.
Der Juni 2017 hatte so einige Highlights. So auch diesen Cache.
Jeder einzelne Cache hat uns Freude bereitet und wir danken deshalb fürs Auslegen.

PS: Vielen Dank für ausführliche sprechende Hints. Wir sind bekennende Hintleser und freuen uns über jede einzelne Dose. Deshalb einen besonderen Dank an alle Owner, die Hints zur Verfügung stellen. Und Nein: "braucht ihr nicht" ist kein Hint!
PPS: Ich benutze zum Nachloggen GSAK. Zuerst braucht man die MyFinds von der Person der man nhinterherloggt. In dem Fall die von meiner Frau. Dann muss die MyFinds - Datei von ihr und mir verglichen werden, die von mir noch ungeloggten Caches in eine neue Datenbank geschrieben werden, dann jeder Monat einzeln als Neue Logdatei exportiert, neu in das Log - veröffentlichen Modul importiert werden und dann zum Schluß noch ein Log verfasst und dann abgeschickt werden. Dabei werden auch noch mehrere TBs und Coins mit durchgeloggt.
