En el pequeño pueblo de Chequilla, al sur de la provincia de Guadalajara y en pleno Parque Natural del Alto Tajo, encontramos algunos puntos interesantes, com por ejemplo la Iglesia parroquial de San Juan Bautista, con un retablo mayor barroco, y levantada durante el siglo XVIII.

Pero quizas lo mas interesante de este lugar es la cantidad de moles de piedra que lo rodean, dando lugar a otra "Ciudad Encantada" como la de Cuenca.

Dentro del conjunto de piedras de Chequilla cabe destacar una curiosa formacion circular de las mismas bautizada como "La Plaza de Toros", y utilizada como tal en tiempos no tal lejanos.

Para acceder a ella lo mejor es dejar el coche bien aparcado en el pueblo y preguntar como llegar a la misma. Esta muy cerca del ayuntamiento y del unico bar del pueblo.

Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com (GC1DHXX) archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Das letzte Login des Owners ist Jahre her und sein Log auf geocaching.com läßt darauf schließen, dass der Cache nicht weiter existieren soll. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier.
