Ahrauen
A short 2-Step
multicache in the Ahr’s wetlands near Stegen
The nature reserve Ahrauen along the river Ahr is one of the remaining areas, where countless animals and plants have found their last habitat. The bird sanctuary is known, first of all, as an important rest house for migratory birds. During the last ten years in the Ahrauen and its environs could be observed more than 265 different bird species. From the parking area up to the final you need about 15 minutes on foot. A GC not activated (but with instructions [;)]) is waiting for the first finder.

Bitte bei Statusänderungen, die bei geocaching.com durchgeführt werden, auch immer hier den Status ändern.
Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und das Ownerlog auf geocaching.com läßt darauf schließen, dass der Cache nicht mehr existiert. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben, so kann dieses Listing durch den Owner selbstständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden.

...wir wären fast verzweifelt, Stage 1 sofort gefunden, aber dort leider keine weiteren Infos entdeckt - wir kommen evtl. nächstes Jahr noch einmal...oder hat da jemand die weiteren Koordinateninfos entfernt?

El Tenedor del Diablo

Kurz vor dem Abflug in Richtung Heimat durchstöberten wir noch die Flußlandschaft der Ahr. Ein Ort, den wir ohne den Owner kaum aufgesucht hätten und der beeindruckte. Sowohl Point 1 als auch der Final waren originell versteckt, aber gut zu finden.

Navi hat uns erst mal auf die falsche Flussseite geschickt. Haben wir aber erst nach ca. 30 schweißtreibenden, es war heiß, Minuten herausgefunden. Also Achtung. Hinweis gut versteckt und Cache dann auch schnell gefunden. Achtung dort unten derzeit viele Spinnennester!
