Wintergrillen 2011 - Picknick im Schnee

All international vistors are heartly welcome to the

 
4th annual mid-winter BBQ

taking place on 3rd December 2011 (frist Saturday in Dec.) from noon to open end.

Team Guppentherapie (lit. grouptherapy) invites you to this crazy off-season BBQ event at 'Lake Kemnade' public recreation park.
We already have rent again the cosy BBQ lodge nearby the beautiful lakeside.

This year's motto is 'Picknick in snow'. So bring along your picknick basket and maybe pack a bit more delicious stuff to share.
We will provide a buffet table for your donations.
(You want to donate, but have no idea what? Toast, buns, mustard, or ketchup are always needed!)

Our team will heat up the charcoal grill and serve comon BBQ food & drinks like bratwurst, pork cutlets, softdrinks, beer and of course glogg!


The event area is equipped with picknick tables, campfire places and public restrooms (with access for handicaped guests).

Regard this area as your stage! Enterain us by juggling with fireballs or bring along your guitar...

Other activities:
Enjoy a walk around the lake and visit the local geocaches.
Children can be 'stored' on the nearby soccer field and playground.
Or have a relaxed day in the indoor spa 'Heveney' with pool and sauna area. (Address is Querenburger Strasse 35, 58455 Witten)
On Saturday the opening hours are 9am to 11pm.

Swimming in the lake is on you own risk!

Registration and addmission
We DO NOT CHARGE any addmission fee or set up limitations. The event is paid off through the sale of food and drinks. A obliging registration is as well NOT NEEDED. But we ask you to enlist in one of following geocache listings:

Feel free to bring friends and non-geocachers.

Groundspeak offered us the 'mega event' icon if more than 500 people attened this BBQ. Do not forget to sign the offical logbook and note the number of geocachers (adults AND children) in your team.
