The Eder was already well-known at the Roman time; it was called at that time „Adrana “, what meant „high-speedflowing “. From its source to the combination with the Fulda has it well 400 meters of downward gradients and a length up to the dam from over 90 km.
The Eder led always clear, soft water and is a waters with richness in fish; in former times there were even salmon in the Eder. Thus it is reported that the monastery Haina received 1347 from its fish water belonging to the castle Hessenstein 34 salmon. 1532 one caught there 7 salmon in the weight of 120 pound. With Battenberg there was in the same year 8 salmon with 64.5 pound, with Frankenberg 4 pieces. 1847 in Frankenberg 23, in Bringhausen 3 and in Schreufa 5 salmon in the Nuhne were caught.
Only the increase of the water weirs set an end for the salmon catch. The Eder has still a species-rich fish stock, e.g. Pikes, Äschen, Aale, trouts, carps and all possible Weis fish types.
To log the cache, first the coordinates have to be completed, the indicated ones are purely fictitious! For this a small task is to be calculated with the help of physics. The distance between Viermünden and Frankenberg on the Eder amounts to 4,7km. The Eder flows with a speed of 2 m/s. One takes an air mattress, puts these in Viermünden on the Eder. How long does the air mattress need, until it arrived at Frankenberg? Friction, acceleration, etc. can be neglected! The result is needed in hours. Please post no spoilers. To log the cache you need a pen! Have fun!

Nachdem mich ein
Arbeitskollege auf meinen Denkfehler beim Rätsel hingewiesen hat, hab
ich das Rätsel lösen und die Koordinaten berechnen können. Bei der
Eingabe beim Geochecker gabs dann Probleme, da hab ich dann Hilfe vom
Owner gekriegt.
Hab den Cache nach längerer Suche und trotz vieler Fußball-Mugeln gefunden.
Vielen Dank für den coolen Cache!

Beim ersten mal hatte ich Tomaten auf den Augen. Heute hats gut geklappt. Die Große hatt sich lieber die Fische angesehen.

Eine Mords Rechnerei gehalten aber irgendwie wollte es nicht passen mit den Koords.
Nachdem ich dann mal die Physik genauer unter die Lupe genommen hatte, klappte´s dann auch 
Heute auf einer kleinen MTB-Tour mit aeromax dann zum Start angefahren. Zum Glück kannte ich zumindest die Physik eines Nano´s, der konnte dann schnell geborgen werden.
