Description
LA
ORILLA VIEWPOINT"
From this viewpoint, the magnitude of the Caldera of Tirajana and its
spectacular rugged landscape can be appreciated , where stands out the whitish
mass of rock. An amazing panorama is discovered, enormous rocky cliff edges
that surround it, showing the visitor a huge natural amphitheater that
culminates in the summit area of the island. The irregular relief of its
interior is splashed with rural constructions which assemble in San Bartolomé
(Tunte) and Santa Lucia Villages.
This rock is an enclave of great singularity that was used as a Sanctuary or a
place devoted to worship, it is an enclave of dramatic beauty. It is an ancient
structure with a phonolitic python form.

The coordinate of the cache are wrong (confirmed be the owner). The right ones are:
N 27° 55.427' W 015° 34.372'
Das war der Cache den ich für diese Reise zu aller erst geplant hatte und den ich unbedingt machen wollte - es ist schliesslich der OConly auf dieser schönen Insel.
Auf unserem Rückweg aus den Hügeln plante ich ihn fix ein und wir fuhren mit dem Mietauto nahe zu den Koordinaten, parkierten und machten uns auf den kleinen Weg der zum Cache führen sollte. Der Weg wurde immer schmaler und willder und an den Koordinaten war die Aussicht zwar nicht ganz schlecht aber nicht spektakulär und eine Plattform mit Informationstafel hatte es auch nicht. Dafür eher einen etwas unheimlichen Lost Place.
Also haben wir noch mals alles gelesen und die Karte abgesucht. Dabei fanden wir den gesuchten Aussichtspunkt im Dorf durch das wir zuvor gefahren sind. Wir sind also direkt an der Plattform vorbeigefahren...
So fuhren wir zurück, machten ein feines Picknick auf der Plattform und schickten das Mail mit den Antworten.
