I was very astonished when I noticed, that there is no Open-cache in Rome, so I wanted to change that for your visit at Rome. Because I´m not able to maintenance a physical cache, I decided to create a Virtual.
This Virtual-Cache takes you to some ruins of the ancient Rome.
Please note, that you have to pay for the entry to the Forum Romanum. But you might take some time to explore the great ruins and the very interesting flora.
At the coordinates, you´re next to the columnar of the temple of saturn (picture one). On the ground, you´ll find one big piece of the columnar (picture two). The mapped subject (in german) is the password for logging a 'found'. If you aren´t sure because of the translation, please don´t hesitate to contact me.
It would be grateful if you would add a picture to your log.

Hurra Urlaub! Gemeinsam mit meiner Muggelfreundin bin ich in Rom unterwegs. Heute besuchten wir in Familie mit meinem Flomi87 das Colosseum, Palatin und das Forum Romanum. Es war eine sehr interessante Führung. Es gab so viel zu entdecken! Bereits zu Hause überlegte ich, welcher Gegenstand sich wohl auf dem Objekt der Begierde befindet. Die Freude war groß, als ich es entdeckte!!!

Evviva le vacanze! Sono a Roma con il mio amico babbano. Oggi abbiamo visitato il Colosseo, il Palatino e il Foro Romano con la mia Flomi87 in famiglia. È stato un tour molto interessante. C'era così tanto da scoprire! Già a casa ho pensato a quale oggetto è probabilmente sull'oggetto del desiderio. Ero così felice quando l'ho scoperto!!!

Während unserer Kreuzfahrt im Mittelmeer haben wir auch in Civitavecchia Halt gemacht. Mit dem Zug ging es dann nach Rom, wo wir viel erlebt haben.
Ganz schön müde kann man in der Stadt werden. Und trotzdem es Oktober war, herrschte in der Senke des Forum Romanum große Hitze.
Schön, dass wir nun die Gelegenheit haben, mit einem Log die Erinnerung daran wachzuhalten.

Weder Gladiatoren,Strassenhändler noch die vielen Gänge des colosseums konnten uns vom Forum Romanum fern halten.
Mit Hilfe der Koordinaten und des Ackergottes konnten wir den Cache in dem Meer aus Säulen gut finden.
