If you are visiting the castle of Schwerin with children you might like to tell them the story of "Petermännchen" which is a cute Ghost who lived in the castle in former times or you might like to tell them the story of a princess.
"Alexandrine von Preußen" was the daughter of King Friedrich Wilhelm III (King of Preußen) and so she was a princess. She was in love with the future grand duke of Mecklenburg - Schwerin and moved with him after he had taken office into the Old Palais.
Alexandrine was very socially minded which gave her much respect. She was founder of the first Kindergarden of Mecklenburg in Ludwigslust. The so called Alexandrinenstift is still one of the oldest kindergarden in Germany.
The cache:
At stage one you will get some information about the history of the castle. Nowadays it might be necessary to look into the mirror to see the background of history.
If you act like that you will get the first hint. At stage two you will meet Alexandrine. Find out the date since she can be met that way.
The year is A. At 53° 37,B and 011° 25,C you will find the cache.

C= (A+3)/10 - 5
It is a short walk that takes about half an hour.

Gemeinsam mit Lupe48 ging es heute mit der DB nach Schwerin.
Unsere Tour führte uns in umgekehrter Reihenfolge zu diesem Cache (erst das Final, dann die Stationen). Aber zu Hause war schon alles gelöst worden und so wollten wir hier unser Glück versuchen.
Vor Ort fanden wir den Cache in seinen Einzelteilen ohne Logbuch vor.
Wir haben hier mal einen Logzettel spendiert und dann alles wieder zusammengesetzt und am wahrscheinlichen Versteck abgelegt.

Heute wahr ich mit Moritz mal wieder auf Tour, dabei mussten einige Dosen geloggt werden. Hatte mal wieder echt Spaß gemacht. TFTC😁👍

Bei einem schönen Spaziergang durch Burg- und Schlossgarten konnten die Stationen gut gefunden und die Rätsel gut gelöst werden.
Vielen Dank fürs Herbringen. Im Herbst ist es hier einfach traumhaft.

Am Ende noch eine kleine Entschuldigung für meine manchmal sehr unkreativen Logs. Da ich eindeutig ein Adventurer bin, fehlt mir oft die Raffinesse zum Schreiben. Damit will ich in keinster Weise die Arbeit des Owners herabsetzen.
