Ich war gerade vor Ort und habe mir das Cacheversteck angesehen.
Es ist wirklich ekelhaft dort einen Cache zu suchen.
Deshalb habe ich die Cachbox entfernt und werde den Cache wahrscheinlich demnächst archivieren .
Aus folgenden Gründen:
- Man kann davon ausgehen, dass der Versteckplatz öfter als Klo benutz wird .
- es gibt kaum einen vernünftigen neuen Versteckplatz in der Nähe. Der nächste gute Versteckplatz wäre soweit entfernt, dass der Cache einen völlig neuen Charakter bekommen würde (Terrainbewertung würde sich ca. um das Doppelte erhöhen) und im Grunde ein völlig neuer Cache wäre.

There is just one day a year where the time is right to go for this cache
Rather well-known location, another cache used to be just a few meters away. Unfortunately I found the remains of the packaging of a christmas present right next to the cache. It looks like one of our fellow cachers didn't have the time to carry it to a trash can - picked it up and took it to a trash can in Gratkorn.

IN: 1 cheap xmas card together with 3 spare stamps wrapped in plastic. If you forgot to buy stamps, feel free to use one.
OUT: TB "Little Mathilda", 1 red x-mas card (via special x-press delivery straight to an address in Gratwein)

Gert hat heute anscheinend die gleichen caches angefahren wie ich.

Schnell um ca. 17 Uhr gefunden. Es war schon ganz dunkel und meine Lampe gab auch langsam ihren Geist auf. Trotzdem alles gut geklappt.

Kurz davor hat jblue den Cache gefunden und war mir dann sogleich behilflich. Kalt war's aber trotzdem schön.

Eine geniale Idee! Dieser Cache mußte sofort gemacht werden. Der Cache wurde schnell gefunden. Wir verzettelten uns beim Kartendurchschauen und Geschenksuchen/tauschen. Mit einer ganz besonderen Wärme im Herzen legten wir unsere 3 Karten (für jede Variante eine) rein und stellten uns vor welche besinnliche Botschaften damit versendet werden können. Wir schlossen unseren Besuch mit einem schönen Weihnachtslied für den Waldläufer ab und weiter ging die Reise.

Out: TB Heart, Stirnlampe, Weihnachtspaket (für Schraterl A) und 2 Karten (die schon unterwegs sind!)

very nice place for a cache with an even nicer idea!
nearly grabed the flashlight yesterday evening and wanted to give it a try, but since i dont know the location decided to do it this morning :-)
cache found rather quickly (should trust the gps sometimes and not the own "cachenose" ;-)

fulfilled the task, left a x-mas postcard, took one, wrote it and send it (wherever marburg/lahn is )

thanks for the present (3rd finder) and even more "thank you" for this very very nice idea/cache, Waldläufer!

I extended my shopping tour somewhat to have a look at this cache. I had a clear idea about the target area and where I could leave my car already yesterday evening as I know the area quite well, both from passing by bicycle and by car and from taking care of a cache which does not exist any longer. (What a luck for Waldläufer - two caches too close to his one would have been too much of a disappointment I guess. On the other hand, the final coordinates of this other cache were most probably not known to the gc.com approver anyway.)

The reception was reasonably good today (which is not always the case in this area) and I found the box rather quickly. The box and its contents are in good condition (what a surprise after one day ;)). I was quite surprised that no one has been at the cache before me, but probably some cachers waited for the cache to appear at gc.com or had other plans anyway.


I think that the hideout is a nice one and among the alternatives one of the safest as an accidental discovery is regarded (which in an area where climbers are around can never be excluded). I vote for leaving the cache at its present place and to refrain from moving it further away from j_blue's cache which is not only on the other side of the river, but also at a much larger distance from this cache if one takes the shortest distance from one cache to the other by taking a legal path and not by taking the distance as the crow flies which is quite meaningless in this case.

I forgot my stamp which I wanted to use for this letterbox at home, but as a stamp is not required for this letterbox, this did not cause a problem. Fortunately, I did not forget to bring the other things with me I had prepared at home.
I ask the next finder to be so kind and take along the card I put into the letterbox - it is a Christmas card and should be sent before Christmas.
I already wrote the card I took out of the box and sent it to the person which is indicated in the address field. (I chose the third possibility, but not my own address ;)).

I took out one parcel and opened it right away although it is not yet Christmas. I liked the contents. Thank you very much, Waldläufer, for your effort! [:)] I refrained from wrapping the items I brought because I am not sure when the items will be taken.

I particularly liked your colourful handwritten description.
I cross my fingers that the cache can stay at its present place. Currently the letterbox is also well suited for travelers who pass by. In case the cache needs to be moved, this will not any longer be the case.
