dieser Cache ist leider archiviert!

Ich habe nach einigen Ausfällen die Dose wieder gesetzt, ohne sie scharf zu schalten. Aber es scheint ein muggel da zu sein, der diesen Cache nicht mag.

Da er als gemuggelt anzusehen ist, archiviere ich ihn.

It was supposed to be quite an epic cachbing day today but the weather was shite and (so) I got out of the house rather late. I had planned to collect a large number of mysteries around Hilden but the GC gods were inclement today: a DNS here, two DNFs there (probably due to bad coords - no geochecker) and two mystery multis where the darkness prevented me from having a go. Wasn't too happy about that. At least I reached the quantitative goal I'd set myself (though barely) - I'll have the mysteries for another day.

The last one! This was a bit of a nailbiter because I really wanted to log here since it was my last chance for the night and I needed this one to round up my number of finds (ridiculous, I know). I felt pretty sure of this as I approached - the D grading wasn't too high and it being dark the place should be deserted. But it wasn't: a single car parked there, people milling about. I'm not sure they didn't hear my not-so-sotto-voce "Shit!" as I cycled past. I thus went around the corned and parked the bike, looking at the listing to kill time, then trying to find a small detour that would get me past another cache, but nothing materialised. It must've taken an excruciating eight minutes or so until went their ways, had their lights one for quite a while without moving. Once they'd vanished I quickly got onto the parking lot and started looking for the cache, so far however without remembering the hint. Another car drove onto the car park and my spirits sank again, but it was only dropping someone off. Alone again I re-read the hint, looked about for another few minutes, then more or less half-heartedly fiddled about until - wait a second! Neat!

Fund Nr. 1744

Um dem von GC.com hervorgerufenen täglichen Bedarf, eine Dose zu finden, zu stillen, machten wir uns heut Abend noch eben zu diesem Cache auf.

Dort angekommen haben wir noch nicht ganz mit dem Suchen begonnen, da stieß ein noch frisches Team aus 4 Cacher zu uns. Sie waren auf der Suche nach ihrem 5. Cache.
Gemeinsam haben wir das Döschen dann gefunden. Ganz schön frech versteckt!

Nachtrag auf OC: Diesen Cache habe ich schon im Juli entdeckt (und auf GC geloggt). Ich war früh morgens unterwegs, um der Hitze und den Sonntags-Spaziergängern zu entgehen, und konnte den Cache daher in aller Ruhe suchen und finden. Schönes Versteck und gut gemacht ...
