1. Cache von heute. Kein Platz mehr im Logbuch.

Zusammen mit renedescartes, ging recht schnell

Auf meiner heutigen Tour als zweite Station erledigt.
Mich wundert nur: Wo ist: "Moritz The Bird Travel Bug"?
Ist er ausgeflogen? - Denn hier war er nicht :-(

Habe mein TB reingegeben, in der Hoffnung, dass er weitergeht!
Cachegegend ist nicht die schönste, aber der Park ist ok.

Nach anfänglicher Widerspenstigkeit hab ich den Cache dann doch gefunden. Wenn man sich nicht richtig Zeit zum Suchen nimmt und ohne den zusätzlichen Hinweis kann die Suche ganz schön "tricky" sein.

Ich war schon so oft in diesem Park mit meinem Hund, hätte mir nie gedacht das ich dort einmal mit dem Navi herumlaufe.Da es mein erster Chach war habe ich mich auch sehr darüber gefreut.

Das war ein wirklich hart "erwarteter" Cache. Ein paar Kids wollten und wollten nicht verschwinden (bei so interessantem Gesprächsstoff wie neue Klingeltöne auch kein Wunder [;)] ).

Relativ schnell und problemlos gefunden. Allerdings bitte ich mal den Besitzer die Umgebung zu überprüfen.
Erinnert im Moment eher an eine Müllhalde...

Ein schöner großer Park, der einen Besuch wert ist. Auch einen großen Kinderspielplatz gibt es dort, was ihn noch sympathischer macht. Ich war in der Dämmerung dort und es war nicht viel los. Doppelt soviele Hunde wie Menschen. Die Dose war rasch gefunden. Danke fürs Verstecken.

Ein ansich netter Park, aber eher für Hunde... BewareoftheHundstruemmerl!
Trotzdem ein schöner Kinderspielplatz, die Hundehalter gehen eh auf der Wiese daneben...!
Wieder ein Grazer Gurkenglas mit fast unaufbringbarem Deckel, trotzdem wir NÖsterreicher uns jetzt schon den dritten Tag von Kernöl und Kürbiskernweckerl ernähren...

Mit n.wiesenhofer dort gewesen. Cache gefunden, war nicht so einfach für einen Newbie :) Mein erster Cache-Versuch.

Erster Cache ohne Wild-Wuggi HILFE! Netter Cache, leider unschöne Umgebung! Amarain_lisa war auch das erste Mal dabei!

Ein netter, schneller Cache. Bei Dunkelheit haben wir schon ein Weilchen gesucht - etwas gestört durch verliebte Muggles. Ist der Baum nicht eigentlich ein Busch ?

Today i found my first GC! I had nothing to change so i did not take anything, i just entered my message into the Log!

Between work and a badminton match I found a little time to test my new GPSr, and as this cache was close to my way, I stopped and found the cache within minutes. It was raining a little, and some muggles with their dogs were arround.
Due to the rain I tried not to stay for too long outside, and so I forgot to look for the bonus-number.
A nice short cache.

Letztes Jahr das falsche [rote Objekt] gesehen und erfolglos abziehen müssen, heute den Cache dank fehlender Vegetation recht schnell gefunden.

Dank alten Ausdrucks war das zerbrochene Glas eine Überraschung.

Hm - das erste Mal, dass ich vor einer Box w.o.-geben musste. Hab sie recht schnell in ner Pause gefunden - sie war aber in dem Versteck festgefroren, so dass sich auch nach einigen mechanischen Experimenten nichts rührte.

Ich hoff mal ein "found-it" log geht okay... werd da sowieso nocheinige mal vorbeischaun, scheint ein netter Park zu sein.

Nachdem endlich wieder einmal ein paar blaue Flecken vom Himmel schauten, dachte ich mir nach der Arbeit, ich geh ein bisschen Laufen und hol mir den ORF-Park-Cache, was auch ohne Probleme gelang!

Die blauen Flecken waren jedoch nur überall anders als über St. Peter, wo es schwarz war und ich schließlich durchnass wurde, aber danke für den netten Cache und den ORF-Park, den ich noch nicht kannte!

Der Park weckte alte Erinnerungen in mir, zu Schulzeiten hatte ich mal einen netten Ferialjob:
Das Schallarchiv vom alten Zusetalschloß hierher übersiedeln.
War schon beeindruckend
Heute frage ich mich allerdings wozu die das ganze Archiv haben, wo sie doch eh nur mehr tagesaktuelle 'Musik' spielen.
Wie auch immer, der Park ist wirklich nett, die Cachebox lag allerdings schon halb abgedeckt da, hab sie dann wieder ein bisserl besser getarnt.

Found on my second visit (first one was at 07:30 CEST this morning); not far from giving up I used my first real telephone joker (thanks orotl) and found the cache box about 20 seconds after placing the call.
If the cache coordinates would be as accurate as the distance in the hint it would be quite surprising if they would still point to a location within the Austrian borders!

I went there in the evening in a short break since I could not imagine easily how one can hide a cache in this park which is not a micro. Well, now I know though I have to admit that I do not think that the hideout is very safe and I also would not have decided to hide a cache there.

Similarly to orotl I associate personal memories both with this place as well as with the old place (which I liked more - it seemed to be a very impressive castle to me at least at that time). I have accompanied my mother a few times to the old place decades ago - what I remember mist vividly is, however, something not so nice. My mother was a in big hurry and I could not follow her pace down the spiral staircase and fell down and injured both my knees. Shortly after the Styrian branch of the Austrian broadcasting cooperation moved to its new place, I visited the new buildings on a kind of open doors day. My mother was disappointed to realize that Robert Seeger looked rather differently there than on TV (without makeup etc).

At the beginning the green area around the new buildings was looking rather meagrely - the newly planted trees were small. In the years to come the appearance improved a little bit. Step by step some modern sculptures were added to the location - to be honest I am not that fond of any of them.

I do not think that the coordinates are that much off as aj-gps wrote (in his joke) , I rather feel that the reception is bad at the place. I did not know his log when I went for the cache as I was at the cache only 45 minutes after him. What I observed was just that the GPS-r which I had switched on only shortly out of curiosity was rather jumpy. I did not need the GPS-r for finding the cache. I found it quickly, but I have to admit that I had read the hint right away as I do not want to search around at such places any second longer than necessary. The cache was again badly covered. I tried hard to cover it better again and added some additional camouflage material, but I do not think that the construction is stable. At the latest after the next heavy rain the cache will lie around open again.

Unfortunately, there is much litter lying around in the area - before seeing the cache I passed by several trees where litter was placed in positions that also could held a cache.
I even saw a spoon lying around on the floor - I left it there as I did not want even to touch it as it probably belongs to junkies.

Thanks for bringing me back some memories of times which are long ago.
