The A23 was born before the 2nd world war. The need to improve the traffic infrastructure of the former “Reichstraße”5, the most important road for traffic from the northwest of Schleswig Holstein, was already recognized in the years 1935/1936. It was possible to complete the earthworks during the war and to complete the concrete roadbed in the years 1947 to 1950. Transport of the concrete was done by hand and it is said that since this time all farmhouses in the vicinity of the Autobahn have concrete floors. You can check this out when you are at the site

If you do not intend to drop a Travelbug the procedure is as usual. The cache is waiting for you at the given coordinates. Please refrain from following the spoiler link since it is intended to guide Travelbug drivers to the hotel in no time. Print out the scrambled hint and use it at the cache if you can not find it.

If your Travelbug intends to stay with us, rent a room for him and leave your name and the name of your companion at the hotel reception (check in). If one of our guests intends to go with you, write your name under his room booking and release his room.

WARNING: The path is blocked with field stones on both sides. You might not see them in the dark. Do not attempt to drive in. There is barely enough room for parking. Consider to leave your car at the gas station.
The container holds roughly 2000 ccm and should be sufficient for a vivid Travelbubg exchange.

Erst ein ganzes Strück zu weit gefahren. Manchmal zeigen die Geräte auch echt Mist an. Auf der Suche nach einem Weg um die Brombeeren herum den Cache dann entdeckt. Ist ja auch nicht schwer.

Heute nach dem Tankstopp, an dem nicht getankt wurde, um Punkt High Noon diesen Cache geloggt. Das Loggen hat wegen der Zimmervermittlung etwas gedauert. Die Dame an der Rezeption war zwar sehr nett aber nicht so fix bei den ganzen Zimmern, die wir neu belegt hatten.
Wir haben schnell mal alle Zimmer geräumt und neue bewohner einziehen lassen. Die kommen nun alle mit Richtung Bremen.
Vielen Dank für die tolle Location, die wir zukünftig sicher noch häufiger zum Bewhner Wechseln nutzen werden.
Die Zimmer der einzelnen TB's hab ich mir leide rnicht notiert, diese wurden aber ordnungsgemäß eingetragen.

Hinweis an den Owner: Das Logbuch ist voll und für diesen Cache eigentlich ein bischen zu klein.

Mit dem Fahrrad hatten wir ja keine Parkplatzprobleme....
Der Cache ist gut zu finden. Das mit den Zimmern versteht wohl nicht jeder, zumindest hatte der TB (impressions from Africa), den wir entnommen haben, keinen Zimmerschlüssel! Wir haben dafür einen Kofferanhänger da gelassen, vielleicht braucht ihn mal ein Reisender.
