The 26-metre-high Angelrodaer railway viaduct belongs to the single-way track railway line Erfurt-Ilmenau and spans the valley of the tame Gera. It was initiated 6th August, 1879. At this time the route went through four lands (Schwarzburg-Sangerhausen, black castle-Rudolstadt, Coburg-Gotha and Saxon Weimar). The viaduct is a steel framework bridge resting on two pillars. The bridge is prepared for a double-track construction, what up to now not occurred = Half-finished.

The rise is quite precipitous - be careful.

The rails and the bridge must not be entered. The Railway is in use.

Bitte bei Statusänderungen, die bei geocaching.com durchgeführt werden, auch immer hier den Status ändern. Analog zu GC setze ich den Status für diesen Cache jetzt auf "Momentan nicht verfügbar". Sobald der Cache wieder gesucht werden kann, kann dies durch den Owner selbstständig wieder geändert werden.

ich habe im Auftrag der Owners den Cache heute entfernt.

Grund: demnächst stattfindente Bauarbeiten an "Halbfertig"

Die Bauarbeiten sollen bis September dauern, dann werde ich die Dose wieder dort plazieren.
