Description
Locomotive No. 41, Micro (bring your own pen)
This is a really quick one in the west of Otjiwarongo. Park nearby the above coordinates and look for the steamy old lady Locomotive No 41.The cache is a little filmbox with a magnet. Please bring your own pen to log.
Spoiler picture is available. However, it is more fun to find without it.
Background information: Locomotive 41
At the train station stands Locomotive 41, which was manufactured in 1912 by the Henschel company of Kassel, Germany, and was brought to Namibia to haul ore between the Tsumeb mines and the port at Swakopmund. It was retired from service in 1960 when the 0.6m narrow gauge was replace with a 1.067m gauge.

Today we stay for an overnight in Otjiwarongo on our way from Windhoek heading towards Etosha.
After not being able to log a Geocache in Windhoek we tried to find this one as our first Namibian Geocache.
Nice story about the locomotive.
My son was inside the cabin very quickly and found the cache before the others got out of the car...

It was very easy. I was with 5 friends on holiday. In the beginning of the holiday, only me and one of the other knows something about geocaching. Here they where all togesther searching, i took a timeout :) Alex was the fastet. I have a nice picture with the group and the winner, but it will be a spoiler :(
