Our 14th cache is named by our small black "KRAEHE". Kraehe means crow / Kráka. During our stay at Geysir-Area we watched some really big ones. A short distance will bring you to the Haukadalur-Forest. Your goal is to find where you can cross the river. Here you will find the cache. Start-content: logbook, pencil, glasmarble, ZDF-pin, 2-euro-cent coin

Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und/oder die Logs bei geocaching.com lassen darauf schließen, das der Cache nicht mehr existiert. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben und der Cache wieder aktiviert werden, so kann dies durch den Owner selbstständig über die Funktion "Cache bearbeiten" erfolgen.
Bei Unklarheiten oder Fragen kannst du gerne mich oder das Team kontaktieren.

Am längsten Tag des Jahres haben wir den Schatz gehoben. Ein idyllisches Plätzchen abseits des großen Rummels (abgesehen von den vielen Mücken). Auch wenn schon länger keiner mehr hier war ist noch alls in allerbester Ordnung. Vielen Dank!

After a night in the geysir hotel this was a beautiful walk to the cache.
Nice place. One of the seldom forests in iceland. And funny - there are a couple of short hiking paths.

After the "show" at the Geysir we walked into this nice forest. Look out for some curios signs on the way to it... 
It was wonderful to enjoy the smell of wood again (though I already associate the smell of sulphur to warm water).
The cache was found and logged at 10:00.
Close by is a hot well. And it is really hot (I tried the temperature - very shortly... 
)

Unser erster Cache - gefunden an einem wunderbaren, romantischen, einer Cachepremiere wirklich würdigen Ort, an dem wir ohne Geocaching wohl vorbeigefahren wären. Nach dem Touristenrummel an Geysiren und Gullfoss war die kurze Suche eine wahre Erholung.
