This is our answer to the appeal "Tradis for Franconia" and our reaction.
Our cache is dedicated to all cachers who are sold on hiking. The hiking trail is about 10 to 15 kms, mostly on farm tracks. But the last 300 m you have to break through the forest without a trail!

Stage 2
There you will find two plates with one character. What rank
has the character in teh alphabet? Take the checksum! This is H.
Next to stage 3 at 49°53,(A+B)E(D-1)'N 10°35,AHB'E.

Having investigated the number of the windows (=I) walk to stage
4:

Count the number of characters on the front of the plate! The
checksum is J. Then go to stage 5 at

Stage 5
Add the number of characters of the plate with two "km"
statements and subtract this extension from the sum of all "km"
statements you see on the plates. The difference is K. Go to stage 6 at

There are two stones. At one of it you see a four-digit date.
Notice the last digit as L and walk to stage 7 at

Now on the way to the final there are neither markers nor prominent
waypoints - therefore you have to use the compass.
Always the bearing statements are pointing to important turnoffs. For testing
plausibility I give the single-digit checksum of the decimal places of the
minutes, but without the third position after decimal point. The second position
is not rounded off.
Example: 49°52,123'N 10°32,654'E make N3, E2
Now walk direction 160° until you see the Japanese ensign (N2, E1). This is stage 12.
Stage 12
Turn to your right and walk about 280 m (N9, E5) to stage 13.
Stage 13
From this point fix 1,3 kms and 169° (stage 14). Stay on good forest track!
Stage 14
If you find a water flow nearby and the checksum are N2 and E8 you did a good job. The next turnoff (stage 15) is about 370 m and 269° (N1, E4).
Stage 15
Turn to your left towards south and follow the way until it ends in the forest. Now you have to break through the forest to the final coordinate.

Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Cache!!!!! Zusammen mit AndyMu(er schreibt einen ausführlicheren Log) und unserem Cacherwuffi Nemo gelaufen und gefunden. Die Skulpturen sind super. :)

Bei strahlend schönem Oktoberwetter ohne ein einziges Wölckchen stellten wir uns heute der Herausforderung dieses Wandercaches.
Waren Stage 1 bis 3 noch recht unspektakulär, wussten wir ab Stage 4 gar nicht mehr, wo wir zuerst hinsehen sollten... ein super gemachter Skulpturenweg, wo ein Kettensägen-Künstler sich an zahlreichen Baumstümpfen, teilweise 5 Meter hoch, wirklich verausgabt hatte. Ein Erlebnis allerhöchster Güte, was diesen Cache wirklich sehenswert und zu etwas Besonderem macht.
Stage 9 war etwas herausfordernd, da leider zwei der drei nötigen Schilder am Boden lagen. Letztendlich kamen wir aber doch auf ein brauchbares Ergebnis.
Die Peilstrecken ab Stage 12 brachten nochmals ein neues Element in die Suche, so dass wir nach rund 4h und nur ganz kleinen Umwegen schließlich den Final in Händen halten durften.
Leider habe ich noch nicht genügend Funde, um auf OC eine Empfehlung vergeben zu können... dieser Cache hätte sie allerdings verdient!
Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Cache, gefunden dann gg. 15:10 mit KarinMu und Cacherhund Nemo.

Nein kein ganz normaler Wandercache, ein Suuuupercache! Zusammen mit
meiner Schwester B. losgezogen um diesen "Wanderer" zu suchen. Wir
hatten einen wunderschönen Nachmittag bei herrlichem Wetter. Es ist
wirklich toll gewesen!
Wir danken herzlich für den schönen Spaziergang!

Heute auf einer sonnigen MTB-Tour gehoben. Die Runde mit dem Rad hat ungefähr 2 Stunden gedauert. Begeistert war ich im ersten Teil von den geschnitzten Figuren. Der Rest war eher matschig, aber wir hatten trotzdem sehr viel Spaß. no trade

Ein ganz normaler Wandercache, da kann doch fast nichts schief gehen. In Begleitung von zwei Gastcachern und einem Hund begaben wir uns also bei schönem Wanderwetter in den Steigerwald.
Hier war heute jedoch einiges geboten. Zum Einen fand die Eröffnung des Skulpturen-Wanderwegs "Waldgeister" 
statt, während es zusätzlich noch eine Gegenveranstaltung in Form einer kleineren Treibjagd 
gab. Nach der Hälfte der Wanderung wurde es dann allerdings ruhiger im Wald, so dass wir gemütlich bis zum Final 
marschieren konnten.

Das war mal wieder in perfekter Tag: super Wetter, ein wunderbarer Wandercache nur eine Stunde von uns entfernt, kein längeres Rätseln an den Stages (d.h. auch kein Grund für unsere Kleine zur Beschwerde [:)]), viele Pilze (das Abendessen ist gerettet (siehe Bild[xx(])!!).
Alle Stages und der Final waren sehr schnell gefunden (ca. 3 1/2 Stunden trotz 2 Babyessenspausen). Und wir haben auch die Schuldige gefunden, die den Final als Toilette benutzt[:D].
Vielen liebe Dank an Stephan, Sandra, Helena und Lana für diesen netten Multi(aber wir wären mit unserem Kinderwagen auch angekommen, der Cache ist also doch kinderwagentauglich [:D].
