My friend Ernest wrote: 

Dear Stephan! 

I feel very sorry, that I did not show up for our caching-tour yesterday. It would have been a perfect day to wander into the woods, but I could not get permission from my mother, to come with you.

Although I tried to be a really good boy, she would not let me go. It was a battle without any hope of winning it. I could have howled like a wolf.

It was a real catastrophe. I can’t understand why she did this.May be we can try to go caching next weekend.

Poor Ernest! But he might search for the following cache very soon already:  

11 animals are hidden in his letter (the double one counts only as one). Convert the initial letters of those animals in the usual way (A=1, B=2,…), add them up and multiply the result two times. At least you just have to add the result of the multiplication to the header coordinates, to get the place, where a little box is waiting for Ernest and all the other Geocachers. 

Inspired by Mundls „Der Brief“(GC14H3Q) I thought, that there should be a puzzle-cache like this in English for our friends from abroad.

If you start at N 48 o 13,247 E 016 o 10,888 and walk via N 48 o 13,443 E 016 o 10,505 - N 48 o 13,483 E 016 o 10,829 -
N 48 o 14,124 E 016 o 9,636 - N 48 o 13,684 E 016 o 9,347 this cache makes a nice 7 km round trip and can perfectly be combined with two other puzzle-caches: „Der Brief“(GC14H3Q) and “R.I.P.” (GC1A4W1, OC556C)
