Gaularfjellet is a small mountain region between Sogn and Sunnfjord in Sogn og Fjordane.
Highway 13, the National Tourist Route "Gaularfjellet", runs between Balestrand and Moskog and is 84 kilometers long. The road, which was opened to traffic in 1938, is a famous tourist destination with many waterfalls and lakes along at the Gaula river.
The highest point on the mountain road is 748 meters above sea level.

english (short): No reaction to my prior log, therefore I archive this listing now.. If the owner repairs the cache, then this listing can easily be reactivated by the owner.
german (long): Wie zuvor angekündigt erfolgt hier nun die Archivierung. Sollte später der Cache erneuert werden, so kann dieses Listing selbständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden.

english (short). According to logs on geocaching.com (GC2D891) this cache is in bad conditions. The owner should repair the cache immediately. If no maintenance logs comes here until one month (08-july-2026), I will archive this listing.
german (long): Den Logs auf geocaching.com (GC2D891) zufolge ist der Cache nicht mehr zu finden. Der Owner sollte hier dringend vor Ort erscheinen und die Lage überprüfen; bis dahin setze ich den Status auf "momentan nicht verfügbar". Sobald die Dose erneuert wurde, so kann dieses Listing selbständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden. Falls jedoch innerhalb eines Monats (08.07.2026) keine Rückmeldung erfolgt, so werde ich dieses Listing archivieren.

Cache_Less and I visited the cache "Gaularfjellet" today at 16:55 o'clock.
The GPS led us directly to GZ where we could find the Cache without any problems.
The Logbook is very wet and there was even a snail in the box!
Thank you Trollmond for hiding this Cache and for showing us this place!

Today, the 10. Juli 2024,FranCo_bain and I found this Cache, Gaularfjellet, at 16:54...
We could find the box easily by following tbe path leadimg there.:)
Sadly the logbook is totally wet!

Buch ist komplett nass, ließ sich nicht beschreiben.
Box ist undicht!
Dennoch absolut schöne Gegend der Ausflug ist es auf jeden Fall wert!!
