Following the D69 of Ghisoni in the direction of "Col de Verde" you cross at first the "Forêt de Ghisoni". On the right side is the "Monte Renoso", on the left one the mythic mountains "Christe Eleison" and "Kyrie Eleison". Approximately 5km before the pass is a homestead "Marmano". There is a drinking place right on the street, you can park next to it. Best you take a few bottles and fill them up, there is no better drinking water!
Not far from the road in Forêt de Marmano, a sequoia tree was suspended. At this time it was 22cm tall and lush green. The age of a redwoods can be several 1000 years old and it reaches a diameter of over 10m and already were native in Europe before the last ice age. There is striving to relocate these fascinating trees in Europe again.
With compass heading 10 degrees and a distance of 7m from the cache you can find this tree.

20. agosto 2017 TofLaBeuze ha encontrado el geocache

Ma première OCOnly trouvée ! La cache est bien là et en bon état malgré 2 ans sans log. Concernant le sequoia, on a rempli les bouteilles à la fontaine, mais sur place on n'a pas trouvé qui était qui dans la multitude de petits arbustes... alors on les a arrosé symboliquement tous :)
