Description
My grandfather once told me the story about the bat farmer.
It must have been in the late 80's, when the AIDS hysteria made donor's blood rare and expensive. A local farmer did fell for the idea, that all mammals could be milked and he read into the literature of Bram Stoker. He diligently bred the "robbers of the night" and took their yield during the day, while they slept.
At some point the district's medical officer, Mrs. van Helsing, discovered, that all residents suffered from acute bilirubin-deficiency but she couldn't find the cause and noted in her report only a very secret reminder that the village had become a "Red House".
The neighbors, however, knew better and condemned the capitalist bloodsucker with torches and dung-throats. Since then this site is a LOST PLACE.
What to do? Maybe some of his creatures have survived? Find them during daylight and search for the bat farmer at north 54° 49.ABC east 9° 31.DEF

Cachekontrolle durchführen lassen. Der Ort wird wieder besiedelt und kernsaniert. Keine Chance mehr für diese Geschichte an jenem Ort.

Schon einmal besuchte ich die Fledermausfarm während einer Hunderunde. Da es bereits dunkel war, warf ich nur einen kleinen Blick aus sicherer Entfernung auf die kleine Farm. Nicht, dass mich die Fledermäuse noch verfolgen... Ein anderer Tag, ein weiterer Spaziergang .... diesmal am Tage und mit Verstärkung... man kann ja nie wissen, wie die Tiere bei Helligkeit so drauf sind und ob sie sich überhaupt zeigen.... Alles klappte wie am Schnürchen, wir konnten alles nötige finden und somit das Final aufsuchen.
Herzlichen Dank an LeDompteur für einen weiteren tollen OC Cache.

Bei Tageslicht und Sonnenschein traute ich mich auf Fledermaus jagd,da diese bestimmt am schlafen sind.
Mutig wie ich bin,gelang es mir auch einige zu finden.
Nach dieser erfolgreichen Jagd gelang es mir auch den Cache zu bergen
Das ganze ohne Kreuz,Holzpflock und Knoblauch

Bestes Wetter, beste Laune und vier motivierte CacherInnen machten sich auf den Weg um das Geheimnis der Fledermausfarm zu enträtseln. Geo-Pigeon wurde in den Bann des Gemäuers gezogen...
Und derweil konnte der Rest des Teams systematisch die kleinen Flugsauger aufspüren und deren Hinweise zu den Finalkoordinaten kombinieren. Zu viert hoben wir dann den Schatz und bedanken uns für das schöne Cacheerlebnis und die STF-Urkunde.

Also doch !
Nachdem wir hier eine ' Challenge' zu Fuss gemacht und einen Bonus vom 'Limes Balticus' gefunden haben,
war klar ....Das ist ein Lost Places !
Heute haben wir uns ohne Gummistiefel auf den Weg gemacht um einen ' Tanz der Vampire' zu zelebrieren.
Erstaunt guckte uns der erste kleine an . Mutig , mit Knoblauch im Gepäck , entlo(g)ckten wir die Antworten um
das Final zu finden.
Als 'Bat out of Hell' (was heute erneut Mädchen-Sache war) konnte die Dose gut gefunden werden.
Gebissen wurde hier nur der Shorts - Träger im Kampf mit den Brennessel.
