Description
The miniature-wonderworld in Hamburg is the world's largest model railway!
This permanent exhibition has opened 365 days a year in the time from 9am to 6pm (at least) and shows on 7.000 m²: 15,4 kilometer tracks with 3.454 switches on which 1040 trains with 10.000 wagons bypass 1.380 signals through 9 thematic construction areas.
On the 1.490 m² layout size 4.110 houses and bridges has been placed which are illuminatet by 385.000 lights - many of those in the 9.250 driving cars and trucks. In between 130.000 handcraftet trees are 260.000 unique figures glued in the scale 1:87.
320 employees spent 760.000 working-hours and 20 Mio € into this wonderworld.

Take a picture of the "Miniaturwunderland"-sign beside the entry or the whole house. Personalize this by holding something unique in front of the camera. Upload the photo as SPOILER or send it by e-mail to me. Merci!
If you want to spent the whole day in between trains, the fee is 15 € regulary.

Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein diese Augenweide besucht. Wer sich gerne überraschen lässt, ist hier goldrichtig. So viele Eastereggs und Interaktionsmöglichkeiten - ein Riesenspaß, keine Frage. Danke für den Virtual :-).

Heute ging es mit dem Rad durch die Speicherstadt und zu den Landungsbrücken. Dabei bin ich auch am Miniaturwunderland vorbeigekommen, wo ich vor vielen Jahren mal war.

Heute war Urlaubstag in Hamburg angesagt. Eigentlich fast nur MiWuLa, aber ein wenig durch die Stadt ging es schon.
Na gut, für diesen Virtuellen musste ich ja nicht viel Stadt.
Ich hoffe das Foto passt so.
