The Cuevas del Drach "Dragon Caves" near Porto Cristo is a limestone cave system with the largest underground lake in Europe.
The cave system can be traversed by visitors. Six more lakes are located there. It extends over a length of 1700 meters.
Every hour a group of visitors runs through the cave.
At the big lake there is a tribune, where musicians play a classical music concert on boats. Afterwards you can take a boat across the lake.
To log the cache, you do not have to pay for admission.
If you want to go in (highly recommended): adults 15 €, children up to 12: 8 € (as of 2018)
To the right of the covered entrance area of the cave is a bronze bust on a marble base.
At the bottom of the bust of the honored gentleman, two years have been cast.
These are the password for logging (both years in a row, without space and hyphen).

Mal wieder ist es Mallorca geworden. Auf dieser Insel gibt es unendlich viel zu entdecken. Heute waren wir zuerst im Safari Zoo und nun werden wir uns in diese prächtige Höhle begeben.

ich hatte mich schon gewundert, dass hier niemand hergelaufen ist. Aber ich war gar nicht falsch, wie das Foto belegt. Leider gibt es in Porto Cristo fast nichts. Auch daher:

Por desgracia para nosotros, perdimos los datos recopilados junto con las fotos, por eso hemos decidido registrarlo hoy (no recordamos el día y la hora en que recopilamos toda la información y ya han pasado muchos meses 😥).
Creíamos haber entendido correctamente la traducción al español realizada con el "traductor de Google" y por eso hemos enviado los datos de la fecha del busto.
*🤦♀️🤦♂️...Ahora descubrimos la casilla para introducir la "clave" (en la App de Opencaching) 🙏.

unser erster cache dieser Art mit einloggen. haben die wunderschöne Höhle besucht, uns im Monte christo eine kleine Stärkung gegönnt und anschließend uns den cache geholt mit chaos119 :-)

Die unerschlossenen Höhlen der Insel mag ich ja mehr. Aber diese ist schon auch beeindruckend. Bisschen viel Touri-Theatershow für mich. Tftc!
Ich hatte beim Besuch die Information auf der falschen Büste gewählt. Es gibt mehrere. Man darf also nicht nur schnell das Listing lesen...
Im Nachhinein konnte ich das richtige Passwort herausfinden und nun doch loggen.
