Descrizione
The place
This cache takes you to the Canyon de Biederthal. The canyon lies close to the French/Swiss border and is an idyllic destination - especially for hot summer days. A leisurely stream has burrowed into the ground here over millions of years, leaving behind impressive structures. Smaller waterfalls and pools as well as some caves are present and invite you to explore.
Warning
The beginning is easy and comfortable. ⚠️ But it soon becomes slippery and has some cliffs. Be careful, wear good shoes and watch children. Please also take care of nature. Take only photos and leave only soft footprints. I have already left enough rubbish for both of us with the cache☺.
The Cache
The cache is located in a cave a few metres long on the north slope of the canyon. From the valley-side entrance to the canyon, take the path on the left side of the river (i.e. north). A path on the left leads steeply up the north slope to the entrance of the cave. Once in the cave, you must climb up, not crawl down. A certain size or being in pairs helps.
Equipment
A torch, non-slip shoes and clothes that can get dirty are helpful. That's all you need.
Now have fun exploring the canyon.

An Nachmittag auf der Durchfahrt zwischengestoppt und mit einer Stirnlampe bewaffnet zu dieser kleinen Höhle hochgestiegen. Erst die falsche Richtung gewählt und ausser hunderte von Mücken nichts entdeckt. Also krabbelte ich kurz in die andere Kluft und konnte nach kurzer Suche das Versteck dieser Dose entdecken.
Besten Dank Tungmar für das Auslegen, Hegen und Pflegen dieses Tradis.

Zusammen mit el Daxo und kaktus67 ging es auf eine "Spezialtour" in Richtung Mariastein. Mit viel erweiterter Cacheausrüstung bewaffnet sollten diverse Leitercaches geloggt werden.
Ganz klar: Ein weiteres Zückerchen war dieser OC FTF, ja vor allem mal überhaupt ein physischer OC in Frankreich! Für mich ist der Ort aber schon recht abgelegen, darum dauerte es länger, bis wir diese Aktion starten konnten. Den Cache konnten wir gut finden und da es hier kaum aktive OCler gibt war der FTF immer noch unser :-)

Für diesen FTF konnten wir uns vieeeel Zeit lassen, denn OC-Cacher hat es in der Region nicht viele.
Zusammen mit el Daxo und Eyjafjallajökull ging es auf eine kurze Tour ins Leimental und in Richtung Chall, mit relativ viel Material. Leiter, Angel, Taschenlampe, Wanderschuhe, frische Kleider und gute Laune.
Diese Dose stand beim Vulkan und mir schon lange auf dem Programm, denn es ist ein der wenigen neuen OC-Only Caches in der Region und in Frankreich, was eine OC-Wüste ist.
Den Ort kannte ich schon von einer anderen Dose. Es ist immer wieder schön hier. Die Dose war nach kurzer Suche enttarnt!
