An der schönen Riva von Zadar, der größten Stadt im Norden der Region Dalmatien in Kroatien, ist die 2005 eröffnete Meeresorgel eine der Hauptattraktionen der Stadt. Die Meeresorgel von Zadar ist ein weltweit einzigartiges Kunstwerk, das Natur und Musik auf beeindruckende Weise vereint.

Die Morske orgulje befindet sich an der Uferpromenade am Nordwestende der Altstadt von Zadar. Die Meeresorgel besteht aus einer 70 Meter langen Treppe, die sanft ins Meer abfällt. Unter den Stufen liegt ein System von 35 Röhren, das durch die Wellenbewegungen des Meeres Töne erzeugt. Diese Töne sind harmonisch, aber stets unvorhersehbar, da sie von der Intensität und Richtung der Wellen abhängen.

Die Meeresorgel bietet ein kontinuierliches Konzert der Natur und ist ein Ort der Entspannung und Inspiration. Gleichzeitig gilt sie als beliebter Treffpunkt, um den spektakulären Sonnenuntergang über der Adria zu erleben.

Die Meeresorgel von Zadar wurde 2005 vom Architekten Nikola Bašić entworfen, um die vom Krieg gezeichnete Uferpromenade der Stadt neu zu beleben. Ziel war es, einen Ort zu schaffen, der Natur, Kunst und Erholung miteinander verbindet.

Die Meeresorgel wurde schnell zu einem Wahrzeichen Zadars.

Die Meeresorgel ist eine öffentliche Installation und somit kostenfrei zugänglich. Sie kann zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit besucht werden. Der Klang verändert sich je nach Wetterlage, was sie zu einem ganzjährigen Erlebnis macht.

Die beste Zeit, die Meeresorgel in Zadar zu besuchen, ist kurz vor Sonnenuntergang. In diesen magischen Stunden verwandeln sich Himmel und Meer in ein romantisches Farbenspiel, das von den harmonischen Klängen der Orgel begleitet wird. Die märchenhafte Szenerie zieht Paare, Fotografen und Naturliebhaber gleichermaßen an. Besonders im Sommer schaffen die warmen Farben der untergehenden Sonne und die sanfte Musik eine unvergessliche Atmosphäre. Frühmorgens hingegen genießt man die Orgel in ruhiger Beschaulichkeit.

Eine Besichtigung der Meeresorgel lässt sich perfekt einem Besuch des benachbarten Platzes Gruß an die Sonne kombinieren.

Located on the beautiful waterfront in Zadar, the largest city in northern Dalmatia, Croatia, the Sea Organ, opened in 2005, is one of the city's main attractions. Zadar's Sea Organ is a unique work of art that combines nature and music in a stunning way. The Sea Organ is located on the waterfront promenade at the northwest end of Zadar's Old Town. The Sea Organ consists of a 70-meter-long staircase that gently slopes down into the sea. Beneath the steps lies a system of 35 tubes that generate sounds through the waves. These sounds are harmonious but always unpredictable, as they depend on the intensity and direction of the waves. The Sea Organ offers a continuous concert of nature and is a place for relaxation and inspiration. It is also a popular meeting place for experiencing the spectacular sunset over the Adriatic. Zadar's Sea Organ was designed in 2005 by architect Nikola Bašić to revitalize the city's war-torn waterfront. The goal was to create a place that combines nature, art, and recreation. The Sea Organ quickly became a symbol of Zadar.

Things to Know

The Sea Organ is a public installation and therefore open to the public free of charge. It can be visited at any time of day or night. The sound changes depending on the weather, making it a year-round experience. The best time to visit Zadar's Sea Organ is just before sunset. During these magical hours, the sky and sea transform into a romantic play of colors, accompanied by the harmonious sounds of the organ. The enchanting scenery attracts couples, photographers, and nature lovers alike. Especially in summer, the warm colors of the setting sun and the gentle music create an unforgettable atmosphere. Early in the morning, however, you can enjoy the organ in peaceful contemplation.

A tour of the Sea Organ can be perfectly combined with a visit to the neighboring Greeting to the Sun square.

Smještene na prekrasnoj rivi u Zadru, najvećem gradu u sjevernoj Dalmaciji, Hrvatska, Morske orgulje, otvorene 2005. godine, jedna su od glavnih gradskih atrakcija. Zadarske Morske orgulje jedinstveno su umjetničko djelo koje na zapanjujući način spaja prirodu i glazbu. Morske orgulje nalaze se na rivi na sjeverozapadnom kraju zadarskog starog grada. Morske orgulje sastoje se od 70 metara dugog stubišta koje se blago spušta u more. Ispod stepenica nalazi se sustav od 35 cijevi koje generiraju zvukove kroz valove. Ti su zvukovi skladni, ali uvijek nepredvidivi, jer ovise o intenzitetu i smjeru valova. Morske orgulje nude kontinuirani koncert prirode i mjesto su za opuštanje i inspiraciju. Također su popularno okupljalište za doživljaj spektakularnog zalaska sunca nad Jadranom. Zadarske Morske orgulje dizajnirao je 2005. godine arhitekt Nikola Bašić kako bi revitalizirao ratom razorenu gradsku rivu. Cilj je bio stvoriti mjesto koje spaja prirodu, umjetnost i rekreaciju. Morske orgulje brzo su postale simbol Zadra.

Morske orgulje su javna instalacija i stoga su besplatno otvorene za javnost. Mogu se posjetiti u bilo koje doba dana ili noći. Zvuk se mijenja ovisno o vremenu, što ih čini iskustvom tijekom cijele godine. Najbolje vrijeme za posjet zadarskim Morskim orguljama je neposredno prije zalaska sunca. Tijekom ovih čarobnih sati, nebo i more pretvaraju se u romantičnu igru boja, uz harmonične zvukove orgulja. Očaravajući krajolik privlači parove, fotografe i ljubitelje prirode. Posebno ljeti, tople boje zalazećeg sunca i nježna glazba stvaraju nezaboravnu atmosferu. Međutim, rano ujutro možete uživati u orguljama u mirnoj kontemplaciji. Obilazak Morskih orgulja može se savršeno kombinirati s posjetom susjednom trgu Pozdrav Suncu.
