Five fingers... or just four and a thumb?

To answer this question you should come and take a look yourself. You may as well take a photo and attach it to your log. I discovered this idyllic place coincidentally, and with this geocache I wish to encourage others to come here deliberately. I simply like this spot. This family-friendly cache is easy to reach on foot, by bike or even by horse. Just follow the paths through the forest. An approach from the north seems to be the shortest way, but is not recommended as the direct route from the road is not safe. All other directions are fine. The last 50 meters might be a bit difficult to pass with a baby stroller, but possible if the stroller is sturdy and its pusher in good shape. The cache is perfect for those traveling on the motorway and looking for a place to stretch their legs. A short walk through the woods (300 meters) takes you to the hiding place which - thanks to a footbridge across the motorway - is reachable within just a few minutes from both the northbound and the southbound rest area.

I would be glad to see all of you trading plenty of items through this cache, but please mind the value of the items you trade. No downtrading at this geocache, please. Mind not only muggles but also mosquitos which can be quite numerous depending on the season and the time of the day. And please make sure that you leave the cache well-camouflaged. You might already know this geocache from the time when it was still listed on
GC.com. Of course, you are allowed to log again on OC. I plan to move
more and more geocaches to OC (as OConly) because I disagree with the
business practices and the overall situation at GC. However, I am not
going to place new FTF-cersificates in the container. You can find the old FTF-certificates of the GC version of the cache here.

Dieser Cache ist seit mehr als einem Jahr „momentan nicht verfügbar“; daher wird er automatisch archiviert. Er kann vom Besitzer jederzeit instand gesetzt und reaktiviert werden.

Das ist schade und ärgerlich. Die Dose war gerade neu ausgelegt, prall gefüllt und besser getarnt als die alte. Zwei Monate später ist ihr Inhalt futsch, die Dose offen und ungetarnt. 
Da ist doch was schiefgelaufen... ich versuche, herauszufinden, was.
Eventuell gibt's im Frühjahr eine neue Dose. Mal schauen, wie und wann. Bis dahin: Pause.

Cache gefunden, jedoch nur die leere Dose. Deckel lag 2 Meter weiter, kein Logbuch, gar nichts. Ist mir wohl wer zuvor gekommen :/

Ein solider Cache an einem ... schön aussehenden Ort. 
Der Fußweg von Siegburg hierher hat uns einige interessante Interpretationen zum Thema "harmonisch sich ins Ortsbild einfügende Architektur" geboten. Der Cache war schnell gefunden und bekommt von uns offiziell das Prädikat "kinderwagentauglich". Leider hatten wir nichts zum Tauschen dabei, also TNLNSL. Der Cache lag völlig offen herum und ist jetzt minimal besser getarnt. Vielen Dank für's Herführen!
