The series "Virtual lookout caches"
These are virtual caches, which should you lead to viewpoints. The caches of this series are always OC-Only and loggable with a password, which can be found at the cache location. Other caches of the series can be found via this search.
To log this cache, you don't have to search a box, because there is no place for a proper box here. Instead, you have to look for a password.

The Cabo de São Vicente at Sagres in Portugal is the southwesternmost point of mainland Europe.

The cliffs of the coast are here up to 70 meters high.

The lighthouse is known as as the brightest in Europe, its light reaches up to 32 nautical miles.

Here you have an impressive view to Atlantic.

At the listing coordinates is the entrance to the lighthouse terrain.

There you will find a plate to the left of the gate (the upper one).

The year is the password for logging.

For the cache, the paths must not be left. It is completely unnecessary and also life-threatening to climb here on the cliffs or otherwise leave the paths.

Leider, leider war, als wir hier ankamen, das Tor geschlossen.

So konnten wir nur einen Blick von außen auf das Gelände werfen, den Leuchtturm bewundern - und natürlich die Infos fürs Loggen notieren, bevor wieder der Fischerpfad unter die Sohlen genommen wurde.

Der Leuchtturm am Cabo da Sao Vicente war bei unserem Besuch immer noch nicht zugänglich, aber die Jahreszahl konnten wir ermitteln. Obrigado dela Cache!

Leider ist der Zugang zum Cabo unmittelbar vor dem Schild abgesperrt. Zum Ablesen der Zahl hats aber noch gereicht.
