Descripción
Paris is considered one of the top filming
locations worldwide. The charm of the French capital attracts the film industry
magically and we were also allowed to watch filming during our stay here.
Of course, many Paris visitors go in search of the original locations of their favorite films.
My favorite was "The Fabulous World of
Amélie".
This virtual cache trilogy should be a little guide through Amelie's fabulous world.
To log this cache, visit Square Willette at the foot of the Sacré-Cœur basilica and make 2 photos referring to the movie.
Examples:
- Square Willette and carousel, at the foot of the Sacré-Cœur basilica (optional) painting with blue chalk arrow (get chalk before!)
- View over Montmartre (Teleskope)
From here you can discover the old carousel below. This is the courtyard where Amélie makes and Nino receives that phone call.
Tip: Amélie scene on the rooftop you can get a similar view if you climb the steps to the top of the Basilique du Sacré Coeur.

In den Pfingstferien sind wir für ein paar Tage mit dem Zug nach Paris gefahren. Nach der Ankunft am Gare de l´Est haben wir die Koffer ins Hotel gebracht und sind gleich am ersten Abend zu Fuß zu Montmartre.
Auf diesem Hügel war es wirklich schön und wir sind sogar noch zum Abendessen geblieben. Während unserer Runde konnten wir auch diesen Virtual loggen.

Nachdem wir vom Filmautomuseum zurück kamen, war noch Zeit für ein Essen im Jeanette. Nach der Stärkung ging es 4 Km zu Fuß zum Montmartre. Wir stiegen unzählige Stufen hinauf um diesen Cache zu loggen. Von hier aus hat man eine Schöne Aussicht und einen guten Blick auf Sacrè Cœur.
Der Name des Filmes ist mit geläufig, allerdings habe ich ihn noch nicht gesehen, ich glaube das sollte ich nachholen. Leider wollte mein Sohn nicht weiter durch das Viertel ziehen, daher bleibt es bei einem Drehort.
