Camera 1 (Main camera)
Please, position yourself here at the "Alter Strom" (see first picture above):http://www.kettenkasten.de/webcam/picture.jpg
The camera takes a picture every minute (or somwtimes every other minute), the time of the picture can be seen in the picture (upper right corner).
Then you have to take a screenshot of the display for getting a picture for the log.
If you can not do it on the go and cannot find anybody who can do that for you - no problem, there is a list of the pictures taken by the camera. These are grouped by year, month and day, so all you have to do is noting day and time (local time on site, of course) and get your picture later.
If cou come here as a group of geocachers and are all on one picture, only one person has to append the picture to the log. The others should just write with whom they were here.
Camera 2 (Backup live camera) - Sorry, not available at the moment.
If the above camera is not working, there is an alternative cam (east of the "Ferienresidenz am Strom" - the camera is clearly visible). Look at the second picture above to get a hint of the area where you can be seen by this cam.This is the link to the camera: Am Strom 72.
This could be difficult when on the move, as this camera is demanding:
- The ability to make a screenshot and to save it as a picture
- High data transfer rate
- A little patience (about 1min) to wait for the establishment of the live broadcast
In cases that you are unable to take a picture, it can therefore be better to have someone else at home/office for taking the screenshot. This person will be rewarded with a real live video. So you can jump around and at home it will be seen live :)

Urlaub Tag 13
Nach 5 Tagen Urlaub daheim, ging es nun aber auf Tour.
Dann waren wir ein paar Tage am Schönberger Strand und haben dort in einer Ferienwohnung mit Stecki76 die Zeit verbracht.
Nun geht der Urlaub im Auto weiter. Ein Event in Holthusen stand auf dem Programm. Und danach einfach treiben lassen.
Heute machen wir Rostock unsicher, Webcam und viele Lab stehen auf der Speicherkarte.
Mal schauen was noch so passt.
Hauptsache endlich einfach selbst Dosen suchen und Spaß haben. Die letzten Tage waren doch sehr Orga lastig, Flashmob, MEGA und Wartung hatten überhand genommen.
Mit Mimic96 und cacher Hund Lulu96 lassen wir uns von Dose zu Dose treiben.
Zum Cache:
Die Cam war das Hauptziel für unseren Besuch hier.
Daher haben wir uns gerne ablichten lassen.

Mimic 96
ha encontrado el geocache
Zusammen mit LaVette und Cachdog Lulu geht es in den Urlaub. Nach ein paar Tagen zuhause, das liegen gebliebene aufarbeiten geht es heute Richtung Ostsee ein bisschen entspannen und ein paar Doses suchen, am Strand spazieren gehen, Radfahren und was man sonst noch so macht.
Heute sind wir ein wenig in Travemünde cachen. Mal sehen was uns hier so ausser der Wencam über den Weg läuft.
Hier konnten wir bei schönstem Wetter ein Foto machen lassen.

Ich denke, dass ich auf den Bildern gut zu erkennen bin. Einmal der mit ohne Haare und einmal der mit der Kapuze.
Ein Bild von mir zum Vergleich habe ich auch gleich mit eingestellt.
An dieser Stelle meinen Vielen Dank für das Legen und Pflegen meines Caches Nummer 157.

Gemeinsam mit EuroTraveller ging es an diesem Wochenende auf den Weg an die
Küste nach Rostock. Für den Sonntag stand vor allem Warnemünde auf dem Plan.
Bei mir auf dem Smartphone wollte sich das Bild im Browser irgendwie
nicht zeigen, aber bei EuroTraveller klappte es wie gewünscht, so dass
er das Bild speichern konnte.
