Descripción
The idea for "Suivez-moi" Cache series arose after various tours through
France and is only a small selection of places of interest along a
route.
The
Bishop of Avranches, Aubert said to have built in 708 the shrine on the
rocky island after him previously, according to legend, the archangel
Michael appeared three times. Since then, the church attracts pilgrims and travelers from around the world.
The Klosterberg threatened to silt over the years, to give it its maritime character back, a restoration project was launched. 2015 the project was completed. Now the Mont-Saint-Michel is several times a year to the island.
The Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel has the highest tides in Europe.
At low tide the sea pulls up to 15 kilometers from the coast back. But be careful! Before you go on a discovery tour through the mud, one should therefore genauenstens inform the tide !!!
Tip: To get the tide to see, it is best to be about two hours before high tide at Mont-Saint-Michel.
About
the newly created footbridge leads tidenunabhängig of
Mont-Saint-Michel, but for a few days a year when especially high tides
leave the Mont-Saint-Michel again to the island. (Note here that the access during this natural spectacle is then a good forty-five minutes is not possible.)

Wenn man schon mal Urlaub in der Normandie macht, darf der Mont-Saint-Michel nicht fehlen. Daher ging es mit etwas längerer Anfahrt zu dieser schönen Insel. Neben dem Sightseeing kam auch das Cachen nicht zu kurz. Auf dem Rückweg zum Festland entstand das Foto vom Mont in der Abendsonne ca. eine Stunde nach der Flut.

Heute ging es gemeinsam mit Ninja_2 zum Mont Saint Michel. Für uns war es sehr beeindruckend, allerdings waren wir über den massigen Tourimus sehr überrascht. Natürlich kam das cachen nicht zu kurz. Hier trafen wir ein sehr nettes Muggelpaar mit einer tollen Katze an der Leine. Nach einem netten Plausch ging es für uns weiter.

Eine Busreise führte mich für einige Stunden nach Mont Saint Michel. Dabei hatte ich die Gelegenheit einige Cache zu finden und zu loggen, dieser schöne virtuelle Cache war auch dabei.

Auf Urlaubsrundreise in der Bretagne und Normandie und dabei auch den einen oder anderen Cache gehoben.
Hier wollte ich schon immer mal her. Schon einige Berichte darüber im TV gesehen und heute ausgiebig den Mont Saint Michel besichtigt. Wir waren früh am Vormittag da, somit noch nicht ganz so touristisch überlaufen (überfallen).
