You can reach this multi cache from Freiburg with the bus route 17 of the Freiburger Verkehrs AG. You should get off at the station "Am Bannwald" and walk through the street "Am Bannwald" to the trail towards "Schauinsland".
Also you can park your car near the bus station "Am Bannwald" (N 47° 57.772'; E 7° 54.572') or at the football ground in Freiburg-Kappel (N 47°58.122'; E 7°54.693'), but this way takes a little bit longer. The way to the cache and back takes about 1 to 2 hours. Be patient and walk normal trails; along the beeline your way will go over rough and smooth and you must go over a hill.
At the denoted coordinates you have a beautiful view through the "Dreisamtal" and to the "Hinterwaldkopf" in 125° direction.
To get the intermediate-coordinates of the cache you will answer the following questions:
1. Which "route" stops at the given coordinates?
2. Which name has this station (in german: Haltestelle)?
Following letters corresponds to the numeric values:

The t is the numeric value of the 8th. letter for the 2nd. question,

the x is the numeric value of the 4th. letter for the 1st. question,
the y is the numeric value of the 1st. letter for the 1st. question,
the z is the numeric value of the 6th. letter for the 1st. question.
The first cache was at
N47°57.893' E7°54.903'.
This cache was vandalised in October 2006, therefore I have placed the second cache at a safer place. This one was placed between hedges and thorns, so I´ve placed the chache again at a new place.
From the station you walk to the intermediate-coordinates. The new cache is in a distance of 57m in 328° bearing.
The cache ist now in an ammo box.
Logbook, pencil and sharpener please leave in the cache.

Ich habe mich entschlossen, die aktuelle Cache-Bescheibung nur noch über Geocaching.com anzubieten.
Die Pflege von mehreren Webseiten wird mir zu aufwändig. Ich bitte um Veständnis.

Die Nutzungsbedingungen von opencaching.de enthalten unter anderem diesen Punkt:
Ist der Geocache auch auf anderen Webseiten veröffentlicht, so muss die Beschreibung immer auf allen Webseiten aktuell und vollständig gehalten werden. Aktualisierungen der Beschreibung müssen zeitnah auch auf den anderen Plattformen vorgenommen werden.
Hier stimmt leider das Listing nicht mit geocaching.com (GCHXHP) überein, denn die Zwischenstation ist hier noch aufgeführt aber auf der anderen Plattform fehlt sie. Der Owner sollte hier dringend das Listing aktualisieren, bis dahin setze ich den Status auf "Momentan nicht verfügbar". Sollte innerhalb eines Monats (31.08.2018) keine Rückmeldung erfolgen, werde ich den Cache archivieren.

So heute im zweiten Anlauf gefunden nachdem ich gestern zu blöd war die Buchstaben zu zählen. Am Mount Camel hatte es gefühlte 30 Grad.

Nachlog wegen Syncronisierung der OC-Logs mit den GC-Logs!
Der Log auf OC entspricht dem Log auf GC!

Bei wunderbarem Frühlingswetter machten sich meine Co und ich auf den Weg um endlich
mal diesen Dino-Cache anzugehen [:P] [:P] . Vom Parkpatz aus ging es den zum Teil recht steilen
Buckel hinauf [xx(] [xx(] .
An der Haltestelle angekommen wurde die Aufgabe im Wartehäuschen sitzend erfüllt und bald
ging es weiter [8D] [8D] [8D] .
Die Finaldose mussten wir ordentlich suchen - zeigte das Garmin doch weit ins Off [:(!] [:(!] [:(!] .
Aufgeben war nicht also nochmals zurück auf Null und erneut die Zahlen sortiert. Diesmal
zeigte das Garmin in die selbe Richtung wie das Smartie und schon von weitem waren die
hübsch aufgestapelten Steine zu sehen [;)] [;)] [;)] . Bingo - gefunden und geloggt.
